Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really long and heavy robe Although at 6' 0" and 200 lbs I'm not unusually tall or heavy, I like a robe that overlaps a lot when worn, and hangs down below the knees even when I'm sitting. It's impossible to find really long robes in the stores. This robe is very heavy-duty, substantially thick, and reaches down to just a foot off the floor on me when I'm standing up. The sleeves are a good length, all the way to my wrists, and the sleeve openings are not so huge that they dangle down into the sink when I wash my hands - the way my old robe annoyingly did. One slight concern are the belt loops. Most robes have a pair of loops sewn at three points, one opening for higher waistlines, and another for lower ones. This robe just has one pair of loops attached at a single point which can pivot up or down as needed to adjust for height. I wonder if that single point of attachment will hold up over the long term. We'll see, but at lest that's a repairable item if necessary. I got the "dark asphalt" color, which is a dark gray and looks really sharp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy, warm robe. This is a very nice robe. It is very heavy and warm. Looks great. It was way to large for my 6'2" son who weighs 165 lbs. I gave it to my husband instead who is about 210 lbs. He enjoys it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality I bought this item as a present for a friend. I believe it is exactly what he was looking for and could not find. This product is well made. It is very soft and absorbent. It is roomy without being overly large. I think it is a great quality piece of clothing at a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Product! After searching and searching for true Terry Cloth Bathrobes and only finding the Soft Plush Types, I was so pleased to find these! I purchased one for myself and 3 others as gifts. Everyone has been so pleased with them! Thank You JCPennys

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It does what I wanted. I was looking for a warm, long, robe that wrapped well around to use in a cold house. The robe does all well. Perhaps the only negative is the weight. It is heavy, as one would expect for a terry cloth robe of that size and thickness.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OOOPPS my first disappointment with an actual big and tall J.C. Penney order which I have been ordering since I was 12 (am now 68). does not accommodate my body through the torso (wear a 56 long suit) guess it had to happen sooner or later.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't like it and was returned My husband hated it, it was very heavy and bulky and the material was very ruff, not soft. I returned it. I was very disappointed in the robe, for the money I thought it would be very nice, but it wasn't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for the big guy and plenty long for the tall guy My son loved this robe. He is a big guy and it was plenty big. I would say it would fit up to a 4X. He is not tall, but doesn't mind the extra length, it would be long enough for a tall guy. Great value.

One of the reviews states that this robe has 3/4 length sleeves, however, in the picture they appear to be full length - can you confirm? Thanks.

Asked by: LMEH
They are full length sleeves.

What is the width from end to end in inches? Hubby wears a 2X in most everything.

Asked by: cook60
I get about 66" total all the way around. Each front flap is about 18" from the side seam, and the back is about 30" across going from side seam to side seam, measured at the belt line.. That's after being washed, so includes some shrinkage.

My dad is 6'7" and he likes his robe to be around the knee - does this fit the bill?

Asked by: Diane
I'm 6' 0" and even after shrinkage from washing the bottom comes to about 9" below my knees, so it should be at or below his knees.

how many inches from shoulder to bottom hem?

medium or large tall. how long in inches from the shoulder seam to the bottom hem?
Asked by: Kathy
Going down from near the neckline, mine is 52" to the bottom hem. And that's after washing and drying at high temperature.
