Rated 2 out of 5 by from Snappy pattern, BUT ..... Unfortunately these slacks were NOT for me. While I have purchased several slacks & pants from JCP stores in the recent past, this was the 2nd time I ordered through the internet. The problem with these slacks was not in the design, but in the size. I ordered the SAME size as all the others in my wardrobe, yet, I could not properly fit into them, nor could I close the button or the zipper. I wish the local JCP store carried MORE styles & colours for portly men than they do, since it is a hassle ordering online (whether in the store physically or truly, on-line). While not wanting to be painted, zenophobic, it seems to me that the "old way" of shopping for clothing, whether male or female, had many advantages. Being able to actually touch, feel the merchandise made for a more satisfied customer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks good, unusual shapes The outfit itself looks good; the color is nice and the fabric is even. However, be very wary of the sizing and shape. One size may be much too large, but the very next size down is far too small. I strongly recommend ordering three suits and returning two of them. You'll want one your size, one smaller, and one larger. You'll have to mix and match between the three to find a proper pairing. Often times, you'll be settling for the one that is closest to the right size rather than finding one that is actually the size it claims. The shape of the suit is also unusual, which probably contributes to the sizing problem. For example, the jacket creates an air pocket in the belly. This makes even a jacket that's too small be too large in just one area. Definitely proceed with caution, and be prepared to test several different sizes to find the one that fits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants for the price The pants are really nice and are of excellent quality. Had to have them shortened a bit and even the tailor I use commented on what excellent quality these pants are. On the down side my suggestion would be to purchase one waist size larger then normal as the slacks tend to run a bit small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice color Good value for the price. Fits well for my size. Disappointed that the gray changed color from when I bought the gray suit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Snug in the legs I purchased these pants to go with the matching jacket for my husband for a wedding. The item itself appears to be well made and the fabric is nice. However, the cut of the pant is on the small side, particularly in the legs. There is also no flexibility in the waist, which is typical in clothing for larger men. The largest size available is a 60 (which is normally what my husband wears in anything else from JCP) so sadly we had to return the pants and the jacket. I would strongly recommend upsizing if possible when ordering from this line.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from To small of arm holes The one problem I have with the suits is that the armholes are a bit small .I do not have large arms compared to a lot of men as I have a smaller frame than many so I do not know what anyone with a larger arm would do in that suit. I did buy Portly for the first time as I am having a bit of a problem with my stomach swelling. There is plenty of room for my stomach maybe a bit to much. My shoulders fit right but I can only barely stick my finger between my arm and the armhole which would be about or even less that 1/2"

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Suit Fits Small I purchased this suit for my husband for an upcoming wedding. The suit itself appears to be well made and the fabric is very nice. However, the cut of the suit is on the small side, which seems a bit peculiar in something designed for big guys. The largest size available is a 60 (which is normally what my husband wears in anything else from JCP) so we had to return the suit. I would strongly recommend upsizing if possible when ordering this suit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding value for the price. Fit is great as well as the overall quality of the Jacket. Couldn't ask for more even if it were at a higher price.
