by jaz2020 Good fabric, ugly facings!
Spouse needs suit separates so have always found JCP's Stafford brand fits him well and is a good value. BUT--the black poly/wool suit jkt has incredibly ugly bright white trim around the inner suit chest pockets, as well as BRIGHT WHITE, THICK stitching where the lining is sewn to the entire inner lapels and collar!
I have no idea where JCP got this ridiculous idea. It's awful and looks disgustingly cheap. He won't be wearing this often, so it isn't worth sending it back. But there's no way he would wear this everyday as a business garment. It simply looks awful! It's a shame because the fabric is excellent and suit separates are hard to find nowadays.

I'm a young professional adding more suits to my wardrobe. This suit is high quality for the price. It breathes well, looks sharp, and avoids wrinkles.

My husband works for a local funeral home. He goes through suits pretty often as they show wear and tear. He needed a gray suit and the ones in the store were too small. Manager of Penneys recommended buying one online and as it turned out he got it quickly and it needed no alteration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ForeverCustomer55 My Stafford Suit Jacket was wearing me, instead of me wearing it.
I absolutely love the quality of the material of Stafford. Stafford suit jackets in my opinion are the absolute best in men's attire. I recommend Stafford to all of my employees to include my supervisor. I have a Stafford jacket for everyday of the week. The one thing that I can't get enough of is the amount of comments I get everywhere I go when I am wearing my Stafford jacket(s).

Bought the suit jacket and pleated pants together. I liked being able to choose matching (color & fabric) jacket and pants. I liked that JCPenny, at Pensacola, works with a local seamstress to offer suit alterations at very reasonable prices with up to a 7-day return time. I had my jacket sleeve length altered with only a 3-day turn-around time. Very professional alteration job. The suit is comfortable to wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeeBee This suit looks great, great value.
I purchased this for my son, who lives in a very hot country where dry cleaning is very expensive. It looks great, and is washable, so that was the perfect solution. We haven't washed it yet, but he has traveled and it withstood travel very well.

I received my travel suit jacket. The fit seemed a little off when I picked it up at the store, but I'm not into fashion, so I figured I would let the tailor look at it when I had the alterations done. So I took it home. My family members thought it looked nice, but noticed it fit a little odd as well. When I took it to a tailor to have alterations done, she noticed that there was something odd about it as well, She asked me to take the jacket off so she could measure it. What she found was that the right side of the jacket was 1/2" longer than the left. And she measured twice just to make sure. So I returned it. I ordered a new one. I hope it fits correctly. I've wasted the better part of 3 lunch hours so far picking up the jacket, taking it to the tailor, and returning it. This has been a major inconvenience. I also need the jacket for work, which is why I bought it, and that has now been delayed. I can't believe a mistake like that wasn't caught in quality control...
