Rated 5 out of 5 by Studio Trio Brushwood Drapes Look Great! I just moved into a new apartment in which my living room has a 96 inch wide set of sliders that open up to the balcony. One of the first orders of business was to get something up to provide some privacy. I wasn’t at all sure what I wanted, so I went to JCP to try to get some ideas. The Studio Trio caught my eye right away. I order four Brushwood (Blue, Beige and Taupe) panels. I was not disappointed. They look as good open as they do closed. The drapes have the look and feel of a much more expensive window treatment. They are also lined so hopefully they will help with heating bills this winter. I also have received many compliments on how nice they look. In fact they have become the focal point for decorating the rest of room. I have just ordered Silvia Vasilleva’s Morning Fjord painting on canvas to become the centerpiece of art for my apartment. The painting has the same color palette as the curtains, which I find very warm and soothing. I can’t wait till it gets here! I am very happy I started with these drapes! October 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Curtains I read all of the reviews and looked at all of the pictures people posted and I felt confident they were the curtains for me. I was a little unsure of the color scheme with my decor but my husband loves them so they're a keeper. They are a nice quality and I got them on sale plus an extra 30%! Good quality and great price...can't beat that! February 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great look & price I ordered these panels on a whim after literally 3 years of looking for panels for my living room. they arrived quickly, and were easy to hang up as i paired them with the Umbra Vale Ball Curtain Rod. of course they came tightly folded and had to be ironed. the label says to put them in the dryer with a damp towel for 10 mins. i'm sure i could've put them in there for 100 minutes and the wrinkles wouldn't come out. i just ironed them on high with my regular iron using steam and they were perfectly fine. i started with ironing them on the back first b/c i was afraid they would be damaged, but by the end i was ironing right on the panels and they were also fine. just do a test run before you go crazy. they look really nice in my space, they filter out light but do NOT block it completely, which is what i was looking for. at night, they provide perfectly dark coverage and are not see-through. Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice curtains! I ordered 8 panels total, 4 spice for my family room and kitchen and 4 multicolor for my living and dining room. They are perfect! Nice quality fabric, lining, and I really love the colors. They were a wonderful match to my décor. October 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly What "I" was looking for! Let me just say, there's a reason these have so many reviews/positive reviews! They are exactly what I was looking for. I literally stalked my postal man today, poor guy, but hey I had to get these in my hands. When I first opened the package, I was happy, but unsure because of the way the fabric felt. When I hung them and saw the linen appearance, with a silky finish, I fell in love all over again. The picture does them NO justice. My walls are calming, but bold and I needed something to tone it down a little without being boring and these are everything but boring! Classy & Fitting.... December 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love my new curtains I searched for some time before purchasing these curtains for my new home. I ordered 8 panels of the 95" in Brushwood Multi for my great room and 2 panels of the 84" in Mocha Multi for my dining room. The curtains were wrinkled due to packaging but came with instructions to place in a cool dryer with a clean damp bath towel and tumble dry on low for 10 minutes but I would advise against this. The first two curtains that I put in the dryer and followed these enclosed instructions carefully came out with water marks on them. I recommend ironing the curtains instead. It is somewhat time consuming but the results are worth it. The colors match my decor and they look great. October 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice and Good quality I was a first time curtain panel buyer. Didn't know much about it. So I accidentally bought just one panel... Make sure you buy two! So the final cost is double! I couldn't believe how expensive curtains are especially after finding out that the price I paid was just for a half of the complete look...I still hung it up and looked at it for a few weeks... It cuts the sunshine and it is energy efficient and the broad stripes are my style and the beige still keeps it "age appropriate". I kept it. I got it when it was 25% off. January 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful panels...! These are beautiful panels with beautiful color selections too. There are some quality issues. I ordered 6 warm spice panels (95") in November '10 and some of the color blocks didn't match. Push forward to May '11, got them matching but the panels aren't the same! The original ones have a heavier weight with 50% cotton/polyester blend lining in a creamy color, the new ones have 100% polyester lining in white, and are somewhat lightweight! I know i can return them until i get all of them matching but it's too much of a hassle since they are always on backorder! I still love them and plan to order another set (will order extra just incase)! June 8, 2011

There's one panel per package so you'd need 2....unless you wanted a fuller look - then you'd need 4 total - 2 per side.

Answer:
The drapes are sold in "panels" so depending on the size of your window you need to figure out how many you need. Shown above is 2 panels (one on each side). I have a large set of windows and put 2 panels each on both sides with sheers in the middle. I didn't want to completely have the drapes closed across the windows. One thing to watch for is that when putting multiple panels together, you want the different colored lines to be even (lining up in a straight line). I had to exchange one panel because it was made differently than the rest and didn't line up exactly. Other than that, the drapes are great.

Answer:
I believe the curtains should over extend by 1/3" on each side of your total window width. I could be wrong, but it also depends on how full you want your window dressing to be.

Answer:
Curtian panels should always be 2 to 2.5 times the window . For example if your window measures approx.36 you should use 2 panels , 72 4 panels .ect.ect . A good rule of thumb is 2 panels for every 36 inches. if the window is smaller than the 36 that is ok , I just use 36 as an example a good formula is window width x 2.5 = the amount of fabric you need to properly cover your window . Remember that the width measurment on a curtian panel is taken while the fabric is layed out flat. So a 54 width panel WILLNOTcover 54 inches of window .

Answer:
The should be always be a bit over the exact width of the window to as much as double. The wider in width you go will create more "waves" in the curtains which looks nice but may not be for everyone.

Is it possible to add sheers to grommet style panels? Would the sheers be mounted on the same decorative pole as the panels or on a separate rod installed behind the main pole?

Answer:
Yes you can put sheers behind these curtains. You will need a double rod or better yet, buy an inexpensive rod and place it behind these draperies.

Answer:
The sheers will have to put on separate rods. The curtain panels are already stiched together with the liners. Its very hard to remove the grommets and will damage the panels. Also, the grommet openings will work max for an one inch rod only. The panels are great but I had to return them because of the grommet size. Hope this helps.

Answer:
I have these curtains on two windows and a patio door in my home. I do not have shears on mine, but I'm sure it would be possible to do so if you prefer. The sheers would need to be on a separate rod. Since the curtain panels fold forward and backward when open, you would need to extend the rod holding the panels out away from the rod holding the sheers so panels could be opened freely.
