Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buy This gate is wonderful if you have pets and/or a baby on the go you want to keep out of a certain area. Even though the price was a little more than I imagined a gate would be it was well worth it. I bought 2! I would recommend this gate to anyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from one mistake We bought this gate to keep our two boys, ages 1 and 2, from entering our kitchen. The gate worked for a few months until our boys got strong enough to rattle it like a gorilla. The locking latch is plastic while the rest of the gate is metal. Maybe we have bad luck, but the gate doesn't work for us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gates work great I purchased two of these and intend to purchase two more! The work great. My son has two of these in his house to keep my grandson out of certain areas and they work great. I bought two to keep my pets in a limited area of the house. Now I need to get two more to protect my grandson from getting hurt on the stairs! Sturdy, convenient attractive....what more could you ask for?!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont waste your $ A total joke, gate wobbles and bows. The extended section are suppose to work by pressure, which means there is no hardware to "fix" them into position, thus it doesn't work.

How far apart are the bars?

I want to confine a medium size cat. So I want to make sure the bars are too far apart, to where he can fit through.
Asked by: TrudyL
Thank you for your question. Standards regulate that there cannot be greater than a 3 inch gap between the bars. Hope this helps.
