Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally found an electric blanket that works! Last year was a nightmare. I went through FIVE different blankets from three different stores and after 3-7 days they all quit working. And all with minimal use. To say I was frustrated was putting it mildly. On a whim I decided to give this one a try and it's lasted a year so far. It's been washed 3-4 times and still works like a charm. This one is set up differently than the others, I like that it's one long cord going from the foot of the bed to the top and that the controls split off from there, less wires to deal with and less tangling. The 20 different temp settings are wonderful, usually though 5-6 is as high as I need to go to keep me nice and toasty. I also really like that the automatic shut off is 10 hours, some of the others shut off after 8 and that means I usually wake up freezing. I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this blanket last year, saved my sanity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very soft electric blanket The electric blanket is very soft and snuggly. It seems to be working well. Setting the blanket at 6 makes the bed quite warm. I only wish the cord for the control was a little longer so it would reach the night stand better without the danger of it falling on the floor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great buy I like the thickness of the fabric, the color and the fact that I got it on sale. It has a preheat setting that I like and it has an auto turn off that I find useful as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thick and plush I really like this heated blanket, it is twice as thick as my last blanket. It feels like a really good quality blanket. I love the pre-heat cycle too. I'm not sure of all the other settings they seem to be a little bit complicated. I just like the feel of the blanket and it's dual controls for the king size. I turn it on the pre heat 30 minutes before climbing into bed, then it goes back to the regular pre set setting and if I forget to turn it off it will automatically do that for me after it's 10 hours cycle. My old blanket I bought from J.C. Penny too and lasted 8 seasons. One of the controllers went out, so I decided it was time to replace it. This one is twice as thick, but not heavy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I purchased the Sunbeam SlumberRest LoftTec heated blanket for myself. I have always used a heat blanket but never one of this quality. It is so soft and warm. Other blankets I have used did not heat as good as this one. Each night before bed time, I turn it on and use the preheat heat setting. By the time I am ready to go to bed, my bed is already warm. I was so surprised at how soft it is. My older blankets were never this soft. I didn't realize how much of a difference the softness would make in my night's sleep. I love my new blanket. It's great. I would definitely recommend to anyone that want to stay warm and cozy and wants a good night's sleep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sort and warm My old blanket wasn't getting very warm and I like to preheat the bed before going to sleep. This blanket offered a good price and others reviewed it well. It is very soft, not heavy and warms the bed very nicely. I do use a lightweight polyester spread on top and it's plenty warm. I would recommend this as a great buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This blanket is FABULOUS We've bought two other electric blankets and one mattress warmer. Returned them all! Got this beauty and it is fantastic. Very very warm and the weight keeps the warmth in when you turn it off. We have had electric blankets for 29 years and so far this is the best one ever! Buy it, you'll love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Many settings So far it's been a great way to start bedtime. I've owned Sunbeam heating pads in the past and they're the only ones that have lasted while providing the relief I need. That's why when I shopped for a heating blanket I knew Sunbeam would be my first choice and so far it's been a good one.

Most Sunbeam blankets have 10-hr auto shut-off. Does this blanket have selectable auto shut-off? (ie- option to shut off after 2, 4, 6, or 10 hours?)

Asked by: MamaD
It has an auto shut off for 10 hours. You can also choose not to use it.

After blanket is turned/shuts off, must temp choice be reset when blanket is turned on again? Or, does control retain previous heat setting? Or ?

Asked by: JBug
Yes, and if the control blinks, just unplug so that it will reset.
