Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the zone heating I've owned my Calif. King since 2013. I can say that I understand the diminishing heating of the pad over the years. I quickly found out that every time I ran the pad through the wash, it didn’t heat as well when placed back on the bed. So, I protect it better and limit it’s washing cycles. But, each time it is washed, it will not warm as well. Sunbeam needs to realize people wash things—design this thing to take a wash/dry every week for 5 years. I’d like to see the heating pad programmable as well. How about a Wifi connected controller with an Apple App or something? One of the biggest annoyances I have is that I like to start out warm and drop the temp over the 8 hour night of sleep. Without programming, this is almost an impossible task to accomplish. I’d pay $350 for a blanket pad that did all the above AND had a good life-span with real usage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great idea I have had two back surgeries and have two steel rods running the complete length of my back. As a result, I suffer from chronic back pain. The pain is significantly worse in the winter months and seems to be getting worse each year. In the winter months my back seems to freeze up due to the cold. The ability to have a higher setting of heat focused on my back has been a life saver. Then the option of warming up our freezing toes only is wonderful. The 10 levels of heat gives a lot more choice then most heated products. The preheat option is perfect right before bed. My only complaint is that I wish the auto off had a few more time settings, like 2, 4, 6 and 8 hours instead of just 10 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this therapeutic heated mattress pad! I have had many heated mattress pads over the years, and i have found this one to be the very best. I love that the heat can be adjusted in three different areas on each side of the bed. The mattress pad has enough padding that you can't feel the heating element wires poking through. That has been a problem in other heated mattress pad that we have had. The one downside of this pad is that there is only one controller. Having a controller for each side would be so much better. I can't find a better heated mattress pad though, so I will stick with this one! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my marriage! My wife's temperature runs extremely hot. This time of year she sleeps with the window open and the fan on high blowing on her. It drops down to the 50s at night. With the heating mattress and it's adjustable zones and tempurtures I can sleep just fine at night. I hit the preheat after dinner so it is ready and warm when I go to bed. I love it, sometimes I just warm my feet and other times my whole body. My dogs love it also! I have to kick them off at night! We actually have a second heat mattress in case something goes wrong with this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product! After much consideration my husband and I decided on the Therapeutic Heated Mattress Pad and we are not disappointed. We love the ability to have our own settings and the multiple settings per side. The mattress pad heat is very warm and we both keep the settings on the low side. Though, once the overnight temperatures drop below zero I'm sure we'll raise the heat level on the mattress pad. We highly recommend this product to anyone searching for the perfect heating mattress pad.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from warms the bed good...but... I own this pad for several years. It is great, but call me spoiled, I would like the controller to be able to connect to my wifi network, so I can turn the bed on and off remotely or even create schedules. I would not even hesitate if Sunbeam come out with this all new upgraded pad and buy it. Maybe a thought for Sunbeam in these days smart phones and apps world... :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for those achey joints. I bought this on a recommendation and because the price was good. So glad I did. What a difference it has made in reducing those arthritic pains and joints that don't want to move as they should. Will buy another. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from zone heating I bought this because it had the zone heating feature. I wanted that feature so that the whole mattress could be heated than just the foot of mattress after that, the remote without cords is bonus. thanks

Trying to choose between this one (for the zones & cordless remote) and one with MANY positive reviews that is said to be thick / plush that you can not feel wires. CAN YOU FEEL THE WIRES? HOW THICK/ PLUSH IS THIS ONE?

Answer:
Well it is not real thick. Average blanket, but you can feel the wires. I put mine between the top sheet and another blanket to hold the heat in and then you cannot feel the wires as much. But nice blanket for the price

Answer:
This is a premium soft mattress pad with 7 oz of fill. The wiring should not be bothersome at all.
