Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stick with the mugs - NOT a fan of the bottles I have everyone I know ADDICTED to Tervis, but only suggest the mugs and NOT the water bottles for I have WORN more drinks due to the lids of the bottles. I've talked to the stores and have purchased new seals - still drips. I've gotten a new lid - still drips. I've taken the seal out when putting the lid in the dishwasher (what a pain to put in/out all the time) - still drips. This is WAY TOO MUCH work to have a water bottle. I LOVE Tervis and RAVE about them. I have 4 water bottles I wish I could swap for normal mugs and be done with them once and for all. I REALLY wish they worked like my (other brand) water bottles and just put a cap on and go. VERY disappointed in these bottles and amazed people like them so much. I was excited to find a bottle for the gym by Tervis that (a) fit in my car drink holder, (2) had an easy to open top, (3) could be attached to my gym bag and (d) was of Tervis name/quality, but again, very disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaking Lids I love Tervis cups with the exception of the sports bottle. I purchased 2 of these water bottles as part of my daughter's wedding gift. I thought they'd be great for them to take on their honeymoon. I had them personalized Mr. Baird and Mrs. Baird. They were so disappointed in them because they leaked every time they took a drink. I called Customer Service and was told it was probably due to the seal not being inserted correctly. I took the seals out and put them back in and left them upside down in my drainer and they still leaked. They have been sitting in their cupboard for over 2 years because of the leaking issue. As I can see, this seems to be a problem for many people. With all these issues, you'd think a new lid would be created to fix this issue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great design; top doesn't wear well I loved this when i bought it and bought several for my work colleagues. two of the tops have warped on the top shelf of the dish washer and no longer seals the liquid in (though it is marked dishwasher safe) and another one has a broken loop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaky This water bottle has leaked since day 1.  I haven't even put it in the dishwasher yet.  It is a slow leak, but more than enough to dampen articles in the bottom of my bag when I carry it to work.  It is also too large to tuck into the water bottle pockets on the side of my bag. Not worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from retractable straw lid? I bought this water bottle last summer and love it because it is easy to carry and is big enough to quench my thirst. The problem I have, though, is that the top leaks and I miss having a straw with it. Being a nurse, when I'm at the hospital, I cannot simply stick a straw in the open top and sip away. We must keep our drinks covered at all times for infection control purposes. I began thinking ... if only this water bottle could be integrated with a retractable straw lid ... then it would be perfect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Handy but leaky I've had mine for a few weeks now. It's a handy size & I like having the loop at the top. I like the narrow width for my hands. What I don't like is how easily it leaks. I read other reviews about leaks, but thought maybe if I stuck to hand washing it, it wouldn't be a problem. I was wrong. It fell over in the floor board of my car & leaked. Not just a couple of drops, a couple of ounces in about 20 minutes. The size is great, but I won't purchase another one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I loved my Tervis tumbler and was excited for this product. However, the water bottle has leaked since the 1st use and is only getting worse. The lid leaks around the rim while drinking. This product is not worth the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it, but hate getting wet when I drink. I love this water bottle and all of my Tervis tumblers, but I hate that they lid leaks when I drink sometimes. I am a teacher without air conditioning so the Tervis bottle keeps my water cold for long stretches of time, but there have been times when I have had water leak down the front of me while teaching. I have tried everything but nothing seems to work to keep it from leaking. Would be nice especially for the price if this wasn't an issue or could be fixed with a redesigned lid.
