PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
What it is:
A sparkly eye shadow with a refined and sophisticated feel.

What it does:
This dazzlingly sparkly shadow innovates with a chic feel and not a single speck of chunky glitter. Microfine bits of iridescent sparkle collide with intense, dreamy hues and lush, 3D metallics for an effect that’s out of this world. And since Moondust has minimal fallout, the sparkle stays on your lids (and off your cheeks).

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates

What else you need to know:
New technology gives Moondust an amazing effect not found in traditional pressed-powder shadows. It feels like a cream, but goes on like a powder to create a smooth, brilliantly reflective look. The result? Sexy, twinkling sparkle with a ton of depth and movement. We recommend applying Moondust with your fingers. For extra intense color payout, try it wet.

Suggested Usage:
-We recommend applying Moondust with your fingers.
-For extra-intense color payout, try it wet.

Size:
0.05 oz/ 1.5 g

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lounge is beautiful! This review is for the eyeshadow in Lounge. I had to purchase this after a friend got a sample of it and I am in love! The pretty brick color shifts to a beautiful beetle green depending on the angle you are looking at it. My friend and I have very different skin tones so I believe it would look good on just about anyone. Application is smooth, and although I prefer the look of it dry, it also works fairly well when applied wet. Just don't use too much water or it will appear thick. That said, the shifting colors are like nothing else on the market. I wish they had their own category like the moondust does, since they would be easier to find.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Less pigment than I expected As a cosmetology student, I had sought after UD but could rarely afford it. When I made my first purchase, I had finally decided on this Moondust shadow in the shade Glitter Rock. I have to admit, it did not live up to what I had thought it would be. I found it to be barely pigmented, and mostly shimmer. Reading other reviews has made me wonder if maybe I had gotten a bad batch, because my experience doesnt match others at all. I will say that as a shimmer, it's awesome, but if you're looking for a rich, shimmery but highly pigmented shadow then I cannot recommend this. I will note though that I did NOT purchase through UD.com, but instead through my local Ulta. Because UD can only really watch over the quality when storing their makeup at THEIR stores and warehouses, not at chain stores, I wanted to note that. It very well could of been something that Ulta did that caused the dry and hard-to work with shadow that I ended up with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Eyeshadow! It also happens to be the BEST! I've been a loyal fan of Urban Decay for well over a decade and my love for this brand started with their iconic eyeshadow! These eyeshadows are the best ones I've ever used! From texture and finish to color selection and product longevity there really is no comparison. Urban Decay eyeshadows have some of the most beautiful and rare colors that I've ever seen. Their duo chromes are the stuff eyeshadow dreams are made of! These are my go to eyeshadows! The blend ability is also something they should be commended for! When you are working with eye shadows that blend with such ease, the finished result is always something beautiful and edgy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for fights. I LOVE the Urban Decay eye shadows I have, Gravity and Blackout-I love the pigmentation, and the easy application and nice build up of color. It's easy enough to blend, and is fairly simple to remove- As a fly by night vigilante, I need an eye shadow that can stand up to anything; from sharks with lasers on their heads to a drunken frat boy (or girl) slobbering on me. I think the best part about it is how well it stays put- death traps making me sweat? Someone from work attempting to make poor small talk about something I know nothing about? No problemo! My makeup isn't running from a fight, and neither am I.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Pretty! I love these Moondust shadows! They are so sparkly, and so pretty, and are even more "everyday" wearable than I thought they'd be. I have Cosmic, Moonspoon, and Stargazer. I originally got them figuring they'd be fun for holiday eye looks, or special occasions, and they definitely are! But, they're certainly not too over-the-top to be used to add a little extra sparkle for a Sunday brunch, or a night at the movies. Just a tiny dab elevates any EOTD into something just that much more special! I'd love to see a true silver-sparkle Moondust (silver glitter with a silver metallic base color), and a true gold-sparkle Moondust (gold glitter with a gold metallic base color--I love Stargazer, but it does skew slightly green from its lime-gold base). I think the Moondust Brush is a great tool for Moondust application (sometimes I dab it on with my finger, sometimes I use my brush, depends on how much I want to apply). I think using a sticky eye primer (I use Too Faced Glitter Glue) is helpful for minimizing fallout, and maintaining Moondust's vibrancy and sparkle while wearing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous payoff as long as you know how to apply it! I've heard a lot of people complaining about fallout. This only really occurs when you apply it DRY. I always apply mine with a slightly dampened brush -- but you can also apply it by dampening your brush with all-nighter instead. This gives the pigment -- and the glitter -- something to adhere to. I love the shift to some of these, like Solstice and Zodiac. Also a couple of these don't look like they do in the pan. I bought Dark Cloud because it resembled a gothic purple with silver glitter when swatched. But the site describes it as grey with pink glitter. So there's that. I actually paired it on my lower lashline with Fireball on my upper, for contrast. I love it. The only downside to these, or at least Dark Cloud so far, is that the glitter is very hard to remove :P It took a couple days for all the glitter to come off my undereye area, even after using makeup removers. But that's not enough of a downside to not use them. I highly recommend them. They're gorgeous and fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super blendable; great color selection! I adore UD eyeshadows. They are highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. They blend very well and last! (I do use a primer to help with the staying power, as my eyes tend to make all eyeshadows crease. But with primer, these puppies don't budge for HOURS.) I have these in several colors, and love each one. I personally find that the matte ones don't blend as easily as the ones with some shimmer, but they still blend and look great. They just take a tiny bit more work for me. I love Naked and Secret Service for matte, neutral colors. You just really can't go wrong with UD shadows. Loaded is another favorite; it is a gorgeous dark teal shimmery color that I absolutely adore. It really makes my eyes pop. Snakebite & Pistol are the best everyday choices. Really, I love every color I've tried! Plus, now that these can be put into portable palettes #as opposed to the vintage eyeshadow singles), it's so easy for creating new looks and super easy for travel. This new formula cannot be beat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bury Me in Moondust Since the day I swiped the first shade across the back of my hand, Moondust had me. No picture will ever do these eyeshadows justice, you need to see the sparkle in person, because it's just wow! All of their shades have so much dimension and life to them, the pigments are stunning and blendable and glittery on a whole new level. I have very sensitive eyes which is only increased when I wear contacts, and a lot of glittery products get in my eyes and irritate them more, so my sexy smoulder turns into a red teary mess. These do not bother my eyes at all! They do shed when you apply them dry, so just sprinkle a little loose powder below your eyes and across your cheekbones, then all the fallout lands on the powder, and you can just sweep it away without getting eyeshadow everywhere. This line is my favorite thing of favorite things, and will own them all one day. I've got the palette and 12/23 shades, so I'm just passed the halfway point. Just get it, you won't regret these!
