What it is:
A matte palette by Urban Decay, featuring six gorgeously Naked neutralsincluding four never-before-seen shades.

What it does:
The long-awaited, multipurpose MATTE companion to Naked is the palette everyone needs in their beauty arsenal. With six versatile and extremely wearable Naked shades, it has everything you need for the perfect neutral matte eyeincluding four totally new and exclusive shades. It all comes in a sleek compact embossed with a pretty, metallic NAKED on the front that has a slight sheen and suede-like feel that begs to be touched. Best of all, the slim design is perfect for travel, so you’ll never have to be without these must-have shades.

This set contains:
- 6 x 0.05 oz eye shadows in Venus (soft, off-white demi-matte), Foxy (very light yellow/white matte), Walk of Shame (very light nude matte), Naked2 (taupe matte), Faint (warm, dusty brown matte) and Crave (deepest, darkest brown/black matte).

What else you need to know:
Each eye shadow features Urban Decay’s brand new Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power, and blendability.

The eye shadows in this palette coordinate with the 24/7 Double-Ended Eye Pencil: Venus (soft, off-white shimmer)/Crave (deepest, darkest brown-black matte).

Suggested Usage:
-Use these shadows to contour, line, and highlight to create the right amount of definition for any occasion.
-For a bolder look, use them as base shades to pair with your favorite bright shadow shades. Richer than other mattes, the color goes on beautifully (never chalky or powdery).
-The demi-matte shade Venus has the tiniest touch of satinperfect for highlighting and adding dimension.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! I was one of the many people who have been writing Urban Decay begging for an all matte palette. No one quite makes mattes the way that Urban Decay does. I saw some comments about this palette being boring. It's anything but. This palette has exactly what it claims to: the basics. It's intended for women like myself who are over 30 and have loved the smoothness of Urban Decay's shadows, but just can't pull of the glitter. This is also a great addition to the Naked family, and can be used in conjunction with the existing Naked 1 & Naked 2 palettes for highlighting or contouring the eye. For me, the star of the show is Venus. I didnt think I'd want a satin shade in the mix since this is supposed to be a matte palette. However, the palette kind of needed this shade. Also, I can't think of another UD shade like it. Yes Zephyr is a shimmery white, but this is a satin finish, not true shimmer. It really wakes up the eye. This palette is everything I hoped it would be. I bought three!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Go-To! I have loved this little gem for years--with consistent use 3+ times a week it hasn't hit pan after 3 years! Not sure if it's still technically "good" but it still works! I love and use every single shade in this palette. If you love naturals and kinda swiping things on not too calculated this is the one for you! I depend on this one for natural looks and defining my hooded eyes...however seeing the new naked basics bigger palette I think I know what I'll be doing next! Seriously just get this if you're unsure...I love cooler toned shadows so may get the naked basics 2 next. Very smooth quality shadows. Great for travel, compact snaps shut snug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile I received this as a birthday present from a friend. I love how versatile this palette is. On my fair skin (and black hair), I can combine all the colors to either create a natural/neutral look or a smoky look. I can use the brown color to fill in my brows, the black as eyeliner (can use a mixing medium to either make gel or liquid liner, or just use as a powder for a soft liner look), and the light shimmer color as a highlighter. I love how you can use this palette for so many uses!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have! The naked basics is an essential for anyone who loves natural eye looks. It is a great complement to any other palette or single eyeshadows that you own. The eyeshadows are easy to blend and work great on a multitude of skin tones! I highest recommend picking up this small palette for use with other eyeshadows or even to create natural matte eye looks all on its own! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT SHADES AND PERFECT PIGMENT This pallet is perfect for everyday use. I love the way it glides on. The pigment is deep and lasts all day long. The shades mix so well and make the perfect eye. Sometimes I don't use a liner and instead used the smudge brush to darken down by my lashes on top and bottom. Looks great. Add the mascara (I use Perversion) and I am so happy with my eye. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Everyday Palette I bought this around the time it was first released, and it definitely became a staple in my makeup bag! Nice variety of simple, everyday shades, and they were vibrant and easy to pair and blend. Great UD quality as usual! Subtracted a star just because the colors aren't anything special, really--just nice basics that are comparable to those you would find in a drugstore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Beginning This was my first high-end eyeshadow palette, and I love it! It is perfect for a quick natural look, and it is just built for travel. My favorite eyeshadow is foxy, I use it as a base and it cancels out to purple veils on my eyes, making me look for awake. Has a fantastic black which is pigmented and easy to blend. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good neutral palette This palette is excellent if you want a good neutral look for everyday wear or to add to a smokey eye look. Venus is quite light so you may need to use a bit more and crave is very dark so you don't really need to use a lot of it to make it pop. overall, I'm very happy with this palette [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
