Rated 4 out of 5 by from Serves its purpose The slip is a bit pricey and a little bit snug in the waist. Otherwise, it does serve its purpose well.I purchased here because good slips are hard to find anywhere else!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product was just fine. I purchased a half slip directly from the JC Penny store years ago, when I was a larger person. Since I have lost close to 100 pounds I needed another slip. I could not find a slip to my specifications - long, and no split. The only slips I found in-store were way too short and had a split. So I went online and found just what I needed. Even though the slip is fine, the quality is not the same. The slip I received was much thinner and was not as dense and silky as the older slips. But overall it works!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great I was so happy to find that someone still had a slip to wear under my skirts and dresses. I'm old school and don't think it is attractive to see a shadow of my legs and crotch through my skirt. But have had difficulty finding a true slip. Most of the web-sites that show slips, they are really foundation garments to make you appear thinner. This slip was perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wear your slips, ladies! Old School but still works. I had to replace my old slip after (gasp) 30 years, so you know these last if cared for properly. Same quality as always for Vanity Fair slips and are very comfortable. Clingy fabric skirts look better with invisible stretch lace-edged undies and a slip - no bumpy panty lines and no sheer peeks. Needed the long slip (28") for maxi skirts; I'm 5'2" and this length works great. Get yourself one today! Couldn't find them in any other store - thanks JCP! “Sweepstakes Entry”

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vanity fair 28" Satin Half Slip Longer slips are getting difficult to find in stores; glad JCPenney carries them online. Vanity Fair has been my go to brand for more years than I care to admit and I have VF slips in many lengths. The quality is great, they last virtually for years, and are still a great value; even better on sale at Penney's. I also appreciate the free delivery to a store near my home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Slip for Maxi Skirts Finally a slip for maxi skirts! I was wearing the slip I had and it was way too short and it had a slit on the side and looked tacky. Most maxi skirts you can see thru no matter what color they are. If you have a maxi skirt buy this slip! It comes in black or white and has no slit so it makes you look smooth all over. I bought it in black and white. The slip is soft and durable as only Vanity Fair is. I wish you sold these slips in the store here in Durango as almost everyone I know wears maxi skirts but not every one is on the internet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits good, but not thick enough The item fits great, but unfortunately, the material isn't thick enough, its extremely thin.

What number sizes to S, M, L translate into for Vanity Fair slips.

There doesn't seem to be a sizing chart on the page.
Asked by: aldkfj
I'm generally a size 18-20 and wear an XL. This slip didn't come in XL so I opted for Large. I'd say that a Large would translate to either a 14-16 or a 16....I do wear it but it's tight.and isn't my size. I don't know about the other sizes but judging by this fit, Medium would be 10-12 and small an 8.
