These are beautiful sheets (blue shade is gorgeous)....it ends there. They felt sleek, crisp and cool to the touch in the package and then I washed them to put on my bed. They shrunk so much the pillow cases did not cover my standard size pillow. The fabric felt totally different after washing. It was rough and scratchy. So disappointing...I returned them..

Not as soft as I was expecting. They also use white thread which is seen from the out side. I also sent the company an email which they never responded too!!

I love the feel of !00% Egyptian cotton sheets & I was expecting them to be a little softer. I'm thinking now if I wash a few more times, they will be softer. The quality is great! I love nice sheets. I feel that I will be enjoying these for quite a while!

Very soft and plush feeling . I couldn't believe I finally broke down and bought myself some really soft elegant sheets . The color is such a soft comforting tone also. I will never go back to the cheaper garden variety type again!

After 4 years of constantly loving my Chis Madden sheets, needed to buy new sheets. Unable to find Madden sheets at Penneys, decided to try these sheets after reading the reviews and reading the description . They needed to have over 400 thread count and be sateen. The first thing I noticed was that they didn't have the sheen that my old ones had, and we're not crisp feelings. But I decided to give them chance. I wash and dried them according to the instructions. First thing, they were so wrinkled and had no quality feeling of the 500 thread count or the feel of the sheen material . For the price, if they were like this before I got them on the bed, I couldn't see keeping them for 4 years. If they would even last half that time. Miss Chris Madden.
