I do 90% of the cooking. It is always nice to have a well balanced sharp knife just with in reach.

This knife amazed me when I diced the first potato---no force needed---cut like cutting through butter!
I only hope it keeps its edge, since sharpening is not recommended.

I once ordered a swiss army 8" from a swiss shop. But the price has gone up plus expensive international shipping. Very glad to find this on the JC Penny website. It was even on sale with free shipping to store. I will keep an eye on other products like this.

After seeing a review on Cook's Country extolling the virtues of this knife for a great price, I decided to try it since all my knives are dull and don't stay sharp. So far, it has lived up to my expectations. In fact, I have to be careful it is so sharp.

THE KNIFE HAS PERFORMED VERY WELL. IT SLICES AND CHOPS VERY WELL. IS A BIT LONGER THAN I AM USED TO, BUT TIME WILL CORRECT THAT.
SO FAR IT HAS HELD IT'S EDGE AND CLEANS EASILY.

Really Sharp edges and has a good fit with ou hand when held right.
