Rated 5 out of 5 by Becky Lego Clock
My son loves his "robot" clock. Seems to be pretty durable also. I would recommend it to anyone who likes Star Wars or Legos.

This thing is really cool. Both arms, hands, and legs move. Head does not turn, but thats not too bad. What is nice is that this runs on batteries so you can put it on a shelf for display without worries of a cord. However, it would have been nice to have a detachable cord that plugs into the back so you can actually use this without wasting a ton of batteries. My only real negative about this is that there is no cover for the front clock part so you can use this as a display piece. You would think that because this has no dangling power cord, that Lego would assume people would just use this for display (like me). The clock face kind of ruins it. For $30, I would have hoped a cover would be included. Time to make my own in photoshop

Quite expensive, so why is not 24h clock possible, and only boring beep-beep alarm, no Star Wars sounds?

The clock is easy to use, although a little bleepy when setting, but when set gives a clear, loud alarm. It keeps good time, and is quite stable when sat on his bottom!
What I would really love to see, though, would be a version without the clock! This is a fabulous little toy in it's own right, and so much nicer than the Gentle Giant Maquettes.
Come on Lego group - the tooling is already more or less there - I'd buy one, and I am sure many more would as this was already an iconic costume design, and the Lego Stormtrooper is well on it's way to being an iconic toy in it's own right!

Wow. I thought this clock was sooo amazing. LEGO should definitely make more things like this. Also, i would like to see more lego starwars things like this. everyone should buy this.
i must say though, 30 dollars? maybe a little pricy. of course i had to buy it because its not everyday you stumble across something as amazing as this. i though 20 atleast wouldve been a bit more appropriate though
overall, a great product, and i would like to see more like it. great for all ages, personalities, and interests. congratulations on a job well done.

Yes it is kinda cool. But what theother people say on here...yes it should have a detached cord, and a cover for clocck face. for the price a radio to wake me up would be cool. Or for 10 bucks more let me play my ZUNE or other mp3 players, and even star wars theam song, and maybe lines from the movie that, that lego guy said. Darth Vader is easy enough to do . Trooper could say all the things they said from all movies! Can you all hire me LEGO? I can help you out a lot!! LOL I LIVE FOR STAR WARS AND STAR WARS LEGOS!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by EdwinS729 Really!?!?!?!?
My son received the Lego Stormtrooper alarm clock as a gift for his 6th Birthday. Other than the novelty of this being a super sized Lego figure it's extremely disappointing for a $30 alarm clock.
Runs on batteries, simple LCD (black/grey, like a solar powered calculator) screen and annoying standard "beep, beep, beep" alarm sound. No "Imperial March", no laser sounds , no tie fighter sounds at all.
Come on Lego we expect a little more creativity for the money! You can do better than this!

It is super basic. The display light could have been better. Same with the quality of the display which is 20 years backwards.
And why this so boring alarm sound??? Would had been so great to select the imperial march for instance.
