I bought my first Waterpik 32 years ago, and it stills works as new. Unfortunatelly the water tips were no longer produced and it rendered useless the whole sprayer.
I bought a new model, the WP-60, and as expected, it works flawlessly with its new designed water tips. I cannot see what advantage they offer and that would be the only drawback I can find with this machine, because every time the water tips are discontinued the whole machine is rendered useless. Somehow it is disposable in the long term.
About the operation, it is simple and intuitive, the water pressure has seven strength gradations, sufficing the first one for a deep and throughly cleaning.
Before going back to Waterpik I tried a chinese model which became disposable even faster, it worked about a year and never delivered the proper pressure.
I think Waterpik has a market niche in which is the best and only option.
My only drawback is the discontinuing of the tips, every time the company decides to do so, the whole machine is useless.

This is a great first time buy for a waterpik. I have to say I am disappointed in 3 things though. 1 - it has been difficult to find new tips. 2. orthodontic tips don't work on this model. 3. and the biggest complaint: IT LEAKS horribly if the reservoir isn't emptied immediately after use. My whole counter top gets a regular cleaning because my pre-teen can't seem to remember to dump the reservoir. I'm on the hunt for a new machine. It's just easier than nagging him. I'm nervous though that other models leak as well.

I've been using a Water Pik for over 40 plus years. I never liked flossing, so this was a perfect alternative. And since I know "they're" always trying to improve on a Model, & I'm not usually happy with newer models, I always have one on hand. This time, I didn't have one on hand, and the day my WaterPik died, I ran out to get a new one the same day. However, none of the stores had the older version model, so I did buy the latest one and wasn't happy with it. So I immediately came on line and found an older version at JCPenney's. As soon as my new one arrived, and it was definitely what I wanted, I ordered another one to keep on hand in case I outlive my new WaterPik.

Previously owned, several years ago, a similar model Waterpik. This basic model is everything we expected. Flossing never seemed to do the trick when trying to dislodge whatever from between my teeth. My wife needed the gum message which this appliance provides. Loved in the past and love even more now.

I bought my Waterpik about 2 months at the recommendation of my son, his wife, & their 7 year old daughter who loves to use it. It is so much easier than flossing & using an inter-tooth mini brush. My teeth feel so smooth-like I just had a cleaning at the dentist office. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by I don't have a nickname I love my Waterpic
I have used a Waterpic for many years. I don't think I could manage without one. I find brushing my teeth is not sufficient to remove small matter from my teeth. The Waterpic always removes more small matter and makes my mouth feel clean again.

works pretty well but hard to seat and find it messy to use. seems to leak water and gets all over sink and floor and requires mop up with every use. Previous one of same brand was more user friendly
