Rated 4 out of 5 by Jenner Cotton Grommet-Top Thermal Curtain The Jenner Thermal curtains are very nice and I believe that they would make a difference in the temperature of a room, which I really cared about, but I did not keep them. I have lots of glass to cover. I ordered 20 panels and only opened one of those. Before ordering, I read the description which sounded to me like they had TWO separate linings. They do not. It is one lining with a rubber-like backing. They were very creased and wrinkled and I just felt like they were too stiff for my taste. Also the fabric is very plain without much texture. I exchanged the panels for the softer, more textured Quinn style, even though it is rated as "energy efficient" rather than thermal. Unfortunately I now find out that the Quinn is on back order, so I have to wait till about the middle of Feb. for my curtains. If you want a quality thermal curtain in a very simple style, I think the Jenner would be great for you. They just weren't what I had in mind. January 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great quality and beautiful color These curtains were exactly what I was looking for. Quality was perfect, and the color was a beautiful (country) red that I was looking for to match the country quilt in the room. Blocks the sun perfectly as promised, which is great for someone who works nightshift! A quick toss in the dryer under "wrinkle release" did the job of getting the lines out, and they were good to hang up. January 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love The color is perfect look really nice length is perfect love them February 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The curtains look great! I needed curtains for my new home and the windows are an odd length. These were perfect and look great January 26, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good quality for the money. The curtains were good quality except for a few flaws in the material that show when the light shines though them. I don't think they will show that much so kept them since they were already hung. January 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by perfect for the nursery Always look to JCPenney for the best value and quality in my drapes and they didn't disappoint. Needed something neutral for a window in the baby nursery and found a contemporary, thermal lined that are perfect! January 27, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by great curtains GREAT CURTAINS AND GREAT QUALITYT. I HAD TO RETURN DUE TO INCORRECT COLOR. I REALLY WISHED THEY WOULD HAVE MATCHED AS IT WAS EXACTLY TYPE OF CURTAIN I WAS LOOKING FOR. I WOULD DEFINATELY ROCOMMEND THIS TO A FRIEND IN NEED OF GREAT CURTAINS ! January 24, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Product blocks daylight very well My color was very accurate. Curtains were so easy to hang and they have great texture. Will need to be ironed or steamed. Weight is perfect, did not put any stress on the rod. I bought these to block out the sunlight while watching TV and when taking pictures.....works great! I will by this brand again when more colors become available. Works great for day sleepers. January 13, 2016

Answer:
The picture shown above has two panels-one on each side of the window. I bought 4 panels to cover my sliding glass door leading to my deck. Nicely made as all JC Penney curtains.

Answer:
Yes. It is half the curtain. I bought 4 to cover my sliding glass door. They are beautifully made. I connected them together using small binder clips. Of course I did it from the back so they don't show. Now I can take the clips off for easier cleaning or use the curtains on another window. The thermal backing is very useful. I hope this is helpful

Answer:
To answer your question - make sure to measure the width of your window and then multiply that number by either 2 or 3. If you have a window that is 40" wide you would need at least 2 panels to cover the window. So I guess what I am trying to say is that Yes - a panel is half of the curtain. I have a large window in my living room that is 80" wide and I have 4 panels to be able to close the curtains and cover the entire window.
