Product Description

Solar mesh roller shade works as an energy-saving window treatment to block up to 56% of ultra-violet rays.

  • cordless product safe for homes with young children and pets
  • light-filtering solar screen helps protect your furnishings and floorings from fading caused by sun exposure
  • absorbs heat and reduces glare keeping rooms cooler in summer
  • heavy-duty spring mechanism allows you to position the shade at any height
  • made of PVC-coated polyester fibers
  • easy installation

Fits windows up to 64" or 72" in length. Window must be at least 1⅜" deep for inside mount and 2¼" deep for flush inside mount. Vinyl/polyester. Shipped with hardware and instructions. Wipe clean, vacuum or dust. Imported.

To order: After measuring your windows, select the size range you need, and the color and quantity and click on "add to bag." You will then be able to specify the exact width you need for your shade. For inside mount, subtract 1/8" from your overall width to account for mounting brackets.

Note: If you are ordering more than one shade within the same size range and want the shades cut to different widths, you must place each shade in the shopping bag separately.

See "how to measure" link for a complete set of measuring instructions.

Spring motor roller shades are manufactured with approximately 8” of extra fabric added to the length. This is required for the proper operation of the spring activated roller mechanism.

FREE SWATCH: If you would like to receive a swatch of the fabric prior to ordering the item, please e-mail customerservice@phaseii.com to receive a sample swatch of fabric. Please include your name, address, item description and color that corresponds with your selection. Allow 5 days to receive the swatch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good, if you're on a budget Even after paying a handyman to install, these were 1/3 of the cost I was quoted by the well know blinds companies. One difference is that those companies included a valence to hide the roller; you see the roller with the JCP solar shades. These blinds don't fully block the brightest sun. But, for the price, I am happy with them. June 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by reduces sun and heat It worked as well as I had hoped! Easy to install and visually inconspicuous. We had large windows with colored glass. Beautiful but not insulating against sun and heat in the summer. Before: lots of sun and a LOT of heat. Now: sun muted and the heat in the area is greatly reduced, but you can still see the colors in the glass. Very happy with this product. July 25, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not what expected When the shade was described as being mesh, I didn't expect it to be nylon screen. It works OK for filtering light but does nothing heat wise. I don't know if it is because I have a wide window that it doesn't roll up right (tension keeps needing adjustment) and after two times of opening it now does not roll smoothly, glad it was on sale July 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solar blind We recently redid our bathroom with marble tlle and ordered this in gray. I just love how it looks.! The window faces the woods, so privacy isn't an issue. I like being able to see out with the blind down. I may purchase another one for my kitchen, July 11, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by They are what they say they are. I read many of the reviews. They helped me out a lot in deciding to order these. What they said about the shades were right. I was pleased how fast they came, how easy they were to install. I did not lose my view. They block the view great from the outside looking in. One has to walk up close to peer in from outside. The sun does come through somewhat and I wouldn't mind if it would block it a little more. It works great when I am watching TV and the glare is gone and that was my main goal. Enjoying my view while still watching TV! July 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great blinds I replaced old aluminum blinds with these solar blinds and not only do they look much better, they keep the room cooler. (Used in a sun room with three 6 ft doors and two 9 foot doors.) Can't beat the price compared to custom blinds. July 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is GREAT!!!!!! Ive ordered five brown roller shades and very happy with them. Very easy to install, hang just right in the area needed. I still have my view, and the porch area is cooler and comfortable. July 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect fit This cut to width product was a perfect. It was ordered to shade a 3/4 glass insert on front door. It does a fantastic job of filtering the sun out and keeps the house relatively cool. Install was easy, greatly recommend. July 5, 2016

Answer:
When it is sunny outside, no, you cannot see in -- at least not the white ones, That might only be when the sun is shinning directly on them....I'd check to make sure, but it's been raining her for days and no sunny weather in sight. Hope this helps.

Depends on how much light is coming from the inside of the house. They do not completely block out seeing in, but knock it down about 50+%.

Answer:
I don't see why not. The hardware that comes with the roller blind (bracket- C/L configuration) would allow the bracket to be mounted to ceiling w/o it falling out-if that makes sense.

Answer:
We recently purchased for our dining room windows. I meaured for inside install. They are installed on the inside top casing of the window.. so basically.. they are hanging down from the top of the window frame. They work great! The install kit came with the screws, brackets and plastic anchors for mounting in drywall and plaster ( if needed) My only concern would be that you make sure your ceiling is level. If these are not level... they will not hang straight on your window when operated.

Answer:
The brackets permit ceiling mount. Strongly suggest that brackets be screwed into ceiling joists. If the width of the shade is not a multiple of 16, suggest anchoring a board to the ceiling joists and then attach brackets to the board.

Ends are metal..I did not unroll all the way to see what they are mounted onto. However.. they are very solid feeling so they must be wood or metal. They are not flimsy. Installed inside mount and I love them. They operate very well

Answer:
I can see out thru them just like the picture depicts. I went outside and you can not see thru into the room. You can see figure shape moving in the room if the lights are on at night. They work very well for blocking the sunlight coming in. Have used them over a year now in our sunporch windows. We don't feel blocked in by them like typical roller shades would. Love them

I can see across the street but you can't see in my window. You can see shadows at night when lights are on in the room. We've had these over a year in our sun porch windows. I truly think they gave us additional time on the porch because of blocking the late afternoon sun.
