Rated 5 out of 5 by Very happy with this product We really like the way these panels look on our sliding door in our dining room; they're casual yet dressier than traditional vertical blinds. We have an open floor plan so wanted casual. We chose the Teak color & to us it's very neutral but adds some color. On our 74" door we put 3 panels & slide them to one side. It was a challenge with the weight of these blinds - we ended up putting a piece of conduit inside the curtain rod so it didn't sag in the middle. Otherwise we'd have to put the middle bracket in & go to 4 panels & slide to both sides - this works better for us. When they're closed they do let light in, which is just what we wanted in our situation. June 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I finally found curtains for my large windows & slider!!! Love them! These curtains are exactly what I've been looking for! I have a lot of very large windows that are not standard size. I ordered them in "Natural" for my family room. I liked them so much I ordered more in "Walnut Brown" for my dining room. I also have these in my glass slider. The best feature for me is, they provide privacy without totally blocking out day light or my view. May 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Doors and Large Windows I bought these for our french doors. I was looking for something that we would be able to push to the side when the doors were open. These seem to fit perfect. I bought 3 panels in the walnut brown color and got the 1" Curved Adjustable Curtain Rod 86"-120" size to mount them on. The panels are heavy so you'll need a heavy rod to mount them on. Quality made like anything I've every bought from JCPenney. They look great hanging. March 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these 'drapes' Was looking out for blinds/drapes/curtains for our backyard entry to home, and since the frame size wasn't so standard, couldn't find the regular blinds. We're so glad we came across these, very high quality and wonderful looking, these have definitely made our place look more beautiful! Disclosure : Sweepstakes Entry May 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best sliding door panels ever! After dealing with frustrating vertical blinds blades that sometimes pop out/break off, I stumbled on to these panels while looking for a replacement. I was enticed by the concept and decided to try it. When I received them I was blown away with the quality of the product. They're easy to install, easier to move from one side to the other than blinds, they do not conflict with my doggie door and they look fabulous. March 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pleasantly pleased and surprised I ordered woven bamboo grommet panels in early January, 2016 from on on-line retailer. Two months later I still had no panels but my credit card was charged. I was given a laundry list of excuses from slow down in production due to Chinese New Year to back-orders. A delivery date could not be guaranteed even in March! I sat in a new home with no sliding glass door window coverings. I cancelled the order. I went to JC Penny on-line and found similar panels for HALF the price! I ordered two panels which were delivered in merely four days. I was so impressed with the quality of the product, I ordered four more panels for more coverage at night. Those panels arrived in just three days. The product added such amazing style and quality to my home which has plantation shutters on all the other windows. Plus, there are no cords or string to hassle! What an incredible experience with JC Penny! I am an exceptionally delighted customer from the standpoint of quality of product, service delivery, and stellar value for a rock bottom low price! March 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent change from vertical blinds! Our patio door vertical blinds (two different doors) needed replacing. So I googled patio door blinds and this came up. I was immediately intrigued - they let the light in but keep the brightest sun and heat out - they let you see out but still have privacy. and they look amazing! I love them. And everyone who sees them wants them too. I have recommended them to everyone. June 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Streamlined and Earthy These look beautiful on our kitchen patio slider! We purchased the walnut color and did 3 panels. Fills up the space nicely. We have a large slider... 8 feet tall and wish they were a tad longer, but this is the longest they come. We lowered the rod, so they still looks great! We used the curved 1" rod that was recommended. June 21, 2016

for me it doesn't like that easy, as there is a border around the frame. so if you cut, you need to stitch them again

Answer:
I own several of these and I'm quite happy with them. They are of quite good quality and are relatively heavy due to bamboo construction. The bottom edges of these panels are finished with a heavy cloth, as are the sides and tops. I don't see how you could cut them without destroying the look and integrity of the panel.

My regular windows are on the small size and I ordered 2 panels. I would measure the width & length of your patio door/windows and check the sizes listed and order accordingly.

We used three of the panels to cover our sliding glass patio door. Two weren't enough. Since they don't flatten out entirely when they are pulled shut, I'd definitely order up.

It depends on how much privacy you want. I purchased six panels to cover 12' of patio windows, but I wasn't looking for complete privacy. I believe four would provide sufficient privacy.

We are installing these panels in all windows in our house. We like them that much. We don't need complete privacy so a little transparency is ok, but I have found that 1 panel per 2 feet works well.

My husband & I went outside after dark to see if you could see inside. We left some lamps on & all we could see were shadows. This was important to us because we live in close proximity to out neighbors. During the day I can see out but someone would have to be standing right outside the window to really see inside.

Answer:
We also wanted an alternative to vertical blinds for our dining area, which has sliding doors going out to the patio. These are not as opaque as verticals, but they do provide a lot of privacy, I think. Keep in mind that they still are made of translucent woven material so they won't ever function the way a blackout shade might.

Answer:
Hi, I haven't put mine up yet but from reading some other reviews, I don't think they will offer total privacy due to the nature of the weave they seem like they will let sunlight through and at night if you have lights on I think they will be semi sheer, I plan to use a plain beige/brown curtain behind them as I also want privacy.

As the picture shows, they can be quite transparent. But if you order more panels, then you don't have to spread them out as much and will have more privacy.

They are translucent and woven, so while they provide some shade, I'm not sure they would block heat from outside as effectively as a solid fabric shade would.

Answer:
I ordered both, Pecan and Walnut to determine what color would look best and compare. Pecan is darker, The walnut is more the color of natural bamboo (the outside shell of a walnut) with brown edging and threads throughout. The Pecan is a darker bamboo and the threads are the same color.

There is not much difference in color. The top binding is dark chocolate brown and the bamboo is a tad lighter, hence called pecan. They filter light but you can still see through them.
