Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, quality curtains I really hate curtain shopping but I have never been disappointed with a JCPenney window treatment. We have one blue accent wall in our living room and wanted to get blue curtains to accent it, so we took our paint mixing stick (dried of course) to the store and held it up to different curtains to see what might match, and the "lustrous steel" looked really good with the paint - the curtain's color is definitely bluish. I ordered a pair of the egret color as well, and hung both sets in the living room. They look GREAT! They are opaque enough that we don't have to worry about nosy neighbors, but transparent enough that they let some light in. I'm really pleased with these curtains and I'm so glad we ordered them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This high-quality panel drapes nicely Royal Velvet Ally panels are in my living/dining rooms. On each end I added a drape in another color. The Ally lets in daylight, eliminates glare and provides privacy. It is not see-through. The fabric is heavier than a sheer, so it drapes beautifully. The "egret" is a nice warm tone, but not available in all sizes. I got some 108" and will hem them; it's worth it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a quality item The panels are thin, the seams are sewn too tightly and bunch up on some of the panels, and there is no header/ruffle on the top. Overall, they seem cheap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A gread product for the cost. The Royal Velvet Ally Rod-Pocket Curtain Panel is a great buy for its cost. I purchased 36 panels and did my entire house in the Fawn color. It is a neutral color and goes with anything. In addition, a variety of colors are available. The curtain panels needed very little pressing and were so easy to hang because they simply slide on the rod. They hang gracefully. If you want to close them, just a small amount of pressure on the top portion of the panel and they move easily on the rod. I couldn't be more happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ink so dark they look black. they are actually a very dark navy.... which is fine with me...they are great to block out the sun in my bedroom and also noise dampening...they are in clearance and on sale now is the time to buy...they will be wrinkled so take them out of the package and throw them in the dryer with a wet bath towel or face towel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed I knew these were going back the minute I saw them. The "egret" color is a very light shade of yellow, not at all white or an off-white with grey undertones as they appear on-line or as you might expect with the color name of "egret". The fabric has a slight sheen to it and looks cheap to me. If you like a polyester look, you might not mind them as much as I do. I wouldn't even keep these if they were given to me free.

Is Egret color in the grey family or Khaki\yellow?

Asked by: Benjammin
Egret is in the grey family, but apparently the person who selected the name didn't know that. These are definitely light yellow panels. I returned them as soon as I received them without even opening the package because of the yellow color, not at all what I expected given the pictures on-line & the name "egret". Don't waste your time ordering them if you don't want yellow.
