I have only one complaint about the curtains, and it's kind of a big one. They are sewn so poorly that they don't hang evenly. You can see at the top where the grommets are that they are uneven. Some of the seams are almost an inch off. So, if you want them to skim the ground like I did, making them look good was impossible. It would touch the carpet in spots and be an inch off in others. I loved the color and they work really well as black out curtains. My solution was to send the 95" back and buy the 108". I then pinned them up myself and resewed them to the correct length. TOTAL pain in the butt, but I couldn't find other curtains that matched as well. They look awesome now, but there was a lot of effort involved in getting them that way. I think for the price, they should have been a better quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by vanstaats I like my grommet-top curtains
The best thing about these curtains is the fabric, because it's nice and heavy, so it's practically light-blocking. It's also soft, and it's attractive with the vertical "stripes" of different texture. The grommets are good-looking and I love the way they slide on the rod.
One thing I would improve is the stability of the fabric around the grommets, at the top of the curtain. It should have something stiffer sewn inside there, because they can be a little floppy, which makes me worry about how they'll hold up over time.
Also, the price is quite high.
They are a bit wrinkly; I'm hoping that "hangs out" after a while. Or I may have to use a portable steamer on them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RedecoratingInNH Great choice
We were redecorating our bedroom and wanted needed to replace our window treatments. I specifically wanted ones to block the sunlight and have a nice rich chocolate color. After going to the store and looking at the various ones that they had there, these caught both my husband & my eyes. Unfortunately, due to the end of the season, they were not in stock at the store. We went online and was able to get enough panels. The only problem is that the store was actually having an additional % off, is using the card. I don't believe that I got that discount online. I don't understand why that wasn't applied when I used my jcp card.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jeljel Excellent Product
This product blacks OUT the light. I had an in-home drapery business for a few years. I can tell you that you cannot beat the price or the darkness that these drapes offer. I was use to adding heavy black out fabric to drapes for the black out effect. This fabric is lightweight and offers the same degree of darkness that yards and yards of heavy black out fabric would do. The black out fabric alone would have cost more than I paid per panel. The drapes are light and easy to train to drape wonderfully. Try getting some custom made and you'll come crawling back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Windamere2 you can see stitching holes in the sunlight.
Had to return looking for blackout, these are not they have shiny vertical stripes woven in and I can see all the stitching holes in direct sunlight makes them look very cheap, Otherwise the volcanic grey is very dark, material is heavy and feels nice. But they are dark on backside no liner, might suck up heat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lynnv Different Length Panel
I ordered four 95" panels. Each one is a different length. The hems and grommets are very poorly hemmed. That seems to be the general consensus with several viewers on this website. I read the reviews prior to purchasing but I had hoped that either I would get lucky and be shipped panels that are hemmed evenly or that Penney's would have corrected this quality issue. Other than the varying panel lengths, the curtains are nice. However, I'll have to send them back because they look awful hanging.

Rated 3 out of 5 by EAS80 Heavier curtain but doesn't seem heavy
First I want to say I got the red curtains...they are darker than they appeared to me and by the color description it gave. They are more burgundy in color. Luckily I still liked them and they go with my bedspread. One other thing is I got 3 panels. 2 are the same length but one is about an inch shorter. I like the fabric it's made out of and it does pretty good at blocking out light, but not heat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Justme7 Curtain panels are different lengths.
Each of 6 panels is a different length. I measured straight down the side hem of each panel from the very top to the bottom of the hem. They range from 81 1/4 to 82 3/8 inches. It is very noticeable when they are hanging . They are listed as being 84 inches long. I have 4 panels on one window and 2 on another so I put the shortest ones on the small window.
They are definitely black out as described,
