Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning I purchased these in the color Teal Largo and not only is the color absolutely stunning, the textured pattern in them stands out and presents an elegant and sophisticated look. These have a fabulous weight, body and a subtle sheen to them making them a good choice for a more formal space as well. A bonus is they are black out if using them in a bedroom or a T.V room in which light needs to be blocked from a screen and they are energy efficient as well. They are an outstanding value in a ready made drapery. So many pluses in one product. Prior to my husband and I seeing these in the J.C. Penney department store, we'd placed an on line order for other draperies from another company. We had not even received those yet when we saw these at J.C. Penney and we knew right away the others were going back. I am uploading a couple of photos I quickly took with a cell phone but a reminder, these photos cannot possibly do justice to the beautiful color of these in real life!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful blackout curtains - great color variety The curtains have a unique geometric pattern that should work with a lot of styles. I bought them primarily for their blackout properties, and they seem to work really well for that, especially in the darker colors. I'd estimate 85-95% blackout for the lighter colors, and 95+% for the darker colors. I didn't notice any significant noise reduction, unfortunately, but I think that's difficult to achieve regardless of the curtain type. I went to pick up the curtains in store, and they happened to have all of the colors on display, so I've included a picture to help see how the colors compare to one another. For instance, the plum color was much darker in person and some of the lighter colors look darker in the online photos (e.g. rock and prairie grass). Rest assured though, they all look great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Drapes We purchased these drapes to replace a vertical blind on our patio door. The two panels cover the door perfectly and being grommet type we can just slide the one panel over to utilize the door. After we put them up we realized that they seem to make the room bigger and a lot more fuller. We get the early morning sun into this window and these blinds block that out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is wonderful! Very nice curtains. Good quality fabric and they do just what they are supposed to do - block out sun and cold since they are thermal blackouts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, and keeps the sun out These curtains are perfect for the bedroom. They look and feel like very high quality, yet the cost was very affordable. Great colors, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are very high quality curtain panels! This is a very high quality curtain panel that is definitely rank very well among the best of them. We have a few types of curtain in our house and I this curtain probably have among the best insulation and black out properties so if energy efficiency is your main concern, I would definitely recommend these. Aesthetically, these are absolute gorgeous with very sharp color and the texture is soft and smooth. The only knick against these is that because they are such a great black out panel, no light really get through so without any light on the panel, they look pretty much extremely dark brownish color,(we bought the oxide gray ones) so these might work best in the bedroom versus area where you might wanta somewhat airy feels even when the curtain closed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Black to blackout I bought these blackout curtains in BLACK, because, well, duh. It's very hard to get another color and have blackout features, like truly darkening the room at midday for naps. With that said, I love the texture on the curtain and the subtleness would blend with any decor. The fabric allowed a steamer remove all wrinkles from the package and the grommet tops were perfectly spaced and a neutral color. Even though these are 50 wide, I still needed an extra set of panels to get the fullness I wanted to reach across double doors that spanned 80 inches. Plus to prevent the light leaks on the edges. I love the room now and my granchildren can nap in peace!

Is the Stone color more of a shade of tan or grey? It appears from the picture to be tan or beige but pictures can be deceiving.

I need drapes in a tan/beige or light brown tone. Does this match? Thank you,
Asked by: None
In my bedroom, they're a bit of a chamelion. My walls are neutral with a little yellow tone in the paint. So, the curtains look tan/beige. I have a white bedspread and a light brown mink blanket on top. It blends very well. But, if my wall were grey, I think they would look more grey.

What are the washing instructions? Do they have to be dry cleaned or can I use the hand washing cycle at home?

Asked by: JfromFL
I wash them per the directions on the label on the inside of the panel. I only wash one panel at a time, set a timer so that I won't forget to remove it promptly from the washer, then transfer it to the dryer and set a timer again, so that I do not leave it in for too long. This process allows me to wash it at home without paying the dry cleaners and still protect the quality. I have washed one set 3 times after having the drapes for about 2 years, and they look fine and still do the room-darkening chore. As for the second set, I have only had them long enough to wash once, and they did fine with the same process described above.
