Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great look & price I ordered these panels on a whim after literally 3 years of looking for panels for my living room. they arrived quickly, and were easy to hang up as i paired them with the Umbra Vale Ball Curtain Rod. of course they came tightly folded and had to be ironed. the label says to put them in the dryer with a damp towel for 10 mins. i'm sure i could've put them in there for 100 minutes and the wrinkles wouldn't come out. i just ironed them on high with my regular iron using steam and they were perfectly fine. i started with ironing them on the back first b/c i was afraid they would be damaged, but by the end i was ironing right on the panels and they were also fine. just do a test run before you go crazy. they look really nice in my space, they filter out light but do NOT block it completely, which is what i was looking for. at night, they provide perfectly dark coverage and are not see-through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Draped in Luxury! Glamorous! Elegant! Chic! Modern! I purchased the Studio Trio drapes in silver, mocha and black for my bedroom. I knew immediately that they would compliment the look I was going for, modern elegance. The material mimics expensive silk drapes that add elegance to a room. The silver, mocha and black color combo fits well with my (any) neutral decor. I also love that they block out sunlight. The nickel brushed grommets help to easily move the drapes to let in more light when necessary. If you are looking to add more glamour and luxury to your space, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED by the fabrics texture and quality. If you are looking to add a bit of color and elegance to a room, DON'T HESITATE to choose these. I am quite pleased and wish I had more rooms to decorate. I would definitely choose these! They are the BEST for Less!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Studio Trio Brushwood Drapes Look Great! I just moved into a new apartment in which my living room has a 96 inch wide set of sliders that open up to the balcony. One of the first orders of business was to get something up to provide some privacy. I wasn’t at all sure what I wanted, so I went to JCP to try to get some ideas. The Studio Trio caught my eye right away. I order four Brushwood (Blue, Beige and Taupe) panels. I was not disappointed. They look as good open as they do closed. The drapes have the look and feel of a much more expensive window treatment. They are also lined so hopefully they will help with heating bills this winter. I also have received many compliments on how nice they look. In fact they have become the focal point for decorating the rest of room. I have just ordered Silvia Vasilleva’s Morning Fjord painting on canvas to become the centerpiece of art for my apartment. The painting has the same color palette as the curtains, which I find very warm and soothing. I can’t wait till it gets here! I am very happy I started with these drapes!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great drapes if you don't care if most are a different length I love these and were just what I was looking for to match the decor in our new home. I bought 10 panels of these in 95" length. Only a few are 95". A few are 93" and one is 96". Needless to say, I'm not happy at all. I've had to let the hems down on the short ones and hem up the long one. Didn't want to have to do this but I really liked them, so I spent hours getting them all to the same length. If you don't have the patience to play around with them, don't bother. I was totally disgusted by the time I was done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my new curtains I searched for some time before purchasing these curtains for my new home. I ordered 8 panels of the 95" in Brushwood Multi for my great room and 2 panels of the 84" in Mocha Multi for my dining room. The curtains were wrinkled due to packaging but came with instructions to place in a cool dryer with a clean damp bath towel and tumble dry on low for 10 minutes but I would advise against this. The first two curtains that I put in the dryer and followed these enclosed instructions carefully came out with water marks on them. I recommend ironing the curtains instead. It is somewhat time consuming but the results are worth it. The colors match my decor and they look great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Them!! I searched and searched for curtains for my 100" wide x 96" long slider.. I probably looked for 3-4 days.. I finally came across these curtains and I thought that the "Brushwood Multi" color was what I was looking for but still a little too lite.. But I started reading the reviews and many people said the top color was more like a slate blue rather than the bluish/green that the add represents... And a couple people posted pics of them in their house and the colors that was showing in those pics were exactly what I was looking for, so I ordered them in hopes that the top color would be a more slate blue color... And this is in fact true... I could not be more happy with them. I ordered 3 panels and 3 covered my slider perfectly!! Couldn't be happier!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Material is beautiful. Drapes look rich and expensive! They were pretty wrinkled when I opened the package, but they ironed out perfectly. (I ironed the lining first and then flipped it over and did the front sides--iron was set on polyester setting) When you hang them, fold them as you want them to hang, run those folds down to the floor with your hands and they will stay that way with very little finessing! Because of the weight, they hang straight and I could not be happier. I had taken the web photo and Photoshopped it into the room to make sure I would like them. Then I took a photo of the actual drapes. Everyone remarks "they hang as beautifully as in the Photoshopped image" (image attached)

Should curtains be the exact width of the window or double the width?

Asked by: linlind
I believe the curtains should over extend by 1/3" on each side of your total window width. I could be wrong, but it also depends on how full you want your window dressing to be.
