Rated 4 out of 5 by ksbabe best black out curtain
I purchased these curtain first but the brown was the wrong shade and length was too short (my fault). I was going to return them. However they blocked the light completely. Remember these were my first black out curtains. I ordered another type and the color was perfect but it did not black out the light. I could see my hand so they went back. This continued with other purchases. Nothing blocked out the light as well as these. I wish they came in more colors. I only use grommets due to the easy of moving the curtains. I will keep these curtains until I find one that blocks as well. I read about the wrinkle problem. These are cheap curtains. If I were to use them full time I would send them out and have a professional take the wrinkles out. Also they hang well some of the others hung poorly. A tip I learned is to add a weight on the bottom. A fishing weight would work or go to a hardware store. Another tip for light blocking is to add Velcro so when you put both panels together light will not come though. Same with the sides.

The microfiber grommet-top blackout curtains definitely achieve what the name entails. My husband works 3rd shift, and he is sleeping so much better now. Our windows are large (95's) and no light is getting through to disrupt him. I also like the grommet tops, and have never bought any of this type before now.

This choice was a wise purchase because I needed draperies to block light and tune out outside noise. All as advertised....

Rated 4 out of 5 by to2me I like these draperies
I looked at these at a JCP store before I ordered them. I had heavy draperies in the dining area. They just became heavy, oppressive looking. I love the clean, light look of these draperies. I absolutely love the grommet style. I have owned these for over a year and have had no problems with them. Friends comment on how crisp they look. I have a pull down cellular shade behind these but they block out light wonderfully. They prevent reflection/glare on the television very nicely. I love these are washable. Dry cleaning is too expensive. These are easily put up and easily taken down. I recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cookiefairy The drapes are attractive
The drapes arrived soon after I ordered them. The color looks very nice in the room. I mainly wanted them to insulate the room in winter. I'd had hoped for thicker fabric, since they are supposed to be thermal. I don't know if they are energy efffective, but I'm certain they are an improvement over the bamboo blinds that I had before.

I bought the appropriate number of panels to cover my window. However, to really make them blackout curtains, I need to add 1 more panel to each window. When I tried to reorder, they were originally not available and now they have been removed from the catalog. Now i have to find another curtain to meet my needs. I am not pleased about that.

DO NOT IRON!
These curtains have some stubborn wrinkles due to packaging, but do not iron them or they will be ruined! Toss a damp towel in the dryer with them and heat on low for a few minutes and most of the wrinkles will disappear.
They hang well and truly block any light.

I bought two sets (4 panels) of these drapes. I absolutely LOVE them; however, they arrived with a stain/dot every 10 inches all the way down one panel. I tried to order a replacement but they no longer sell them in the 95" length in navy. Real bummer!!!!
