Rated 5 out of 5 by from Found what I wanted, and so reasonably priced I've been wanting nice hardware (not the cheap stuff we all have lived with) and good quality curtains (Liz Claiborne!) for a long time. When I saw the great Penney sale, I had to go for it. So glad I did...top quality items, fast shipping and clear directions for mounting everything. I am very happy. Thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job- white isn't white This is well made and was quickly installed, but was disappointed that a rod called "white" is a cream color. I kept it anyway, but it will bug me. You cannot lift this rod from the brackets- it must be slid from one side to the other, and with a middle bracket, it makes hanging the curtains a bit of an effort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These rods were easy to install and are very durable. My mom loved my new curtain rods....so much....that she ordered some as well. And yes, because they were easy to install, were able to do install them for her, too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible curtain rod The brackets on this rod are awful. Not adjustable and can't drop the rod in. Have to feed them through the loop in the bracket and it takes 2 people to get the curtains up. Difficult to screw brackets into the wall because of the bracket angle. One of the finials came apart when removing and took several minutes to get it back together. Rod also scratches easily. Don't know where these rods were made but they're the worst I've ever dealt with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Needed New Curtains My old curtains were 16 years old and I really needed new curtains. I am really pleased with my new curtains. The sales person at Penny's helped me picked them out and since I was buying ready made curtains, I bought the best quality I could find. Penny's is far and above their competitors when it comes to selection, fabrics to choose from, and really good value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love these, the only problem is that they are not adjustable from front to back. They worked for my room because the ends where not to big. The only problem with them is that they are not adjustable from front to back. The drapes hang out from the wall a little to far. Look great though. Easy to hang.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Curtain Rods! I'm really happy with the way these rods look in the room. They were easy to install, and I like how they come with an extra bracket in case it's needed for longer extension.

Can the finials be removed?

What is the size of the finial? I have a very tight space and I'm concerned there won't be room for it.

Asked by: Kaye
The finial is not too large. Maybe the size of a standard doorknob.

What is the distance of the space from the wall to the rod?

I have blinds that I would like to put curtains over to further darken the room as the room is still too bright (direct sunlight). I would like to know the distance from the wall to the rod to see if it will be able to easily go over the blinds.
Asked by: SapientSaphead
If your blinds are tucked up into the casing of your window, this rod will work. When mounted on my wall, it is 6.5 inches to the rod where it rests in the curl of the bracket.

Does the 86-120" rod require a middle bracket?

I'm considering this to add drapes to a sliding door however I want to be able to pull all drapes to one side. Having a middle bracket makes this impossible.
Asked by: Cherga
It comes with a middle bracket, but I didn't use it. They are lightweight and depending on how heavy your curtains are, it should be okay

Is a 1 inch rod the correct size for grommet drapes so they can be opened and closed easily?

I want to have cotton/poly grommeted drapes to bunch without much volume when not in use, but pull across when we want a bit of privacy over a 101 width sliding glass doorway. I need to put up a rod and then buy curtains. How much width of curtain should I buy and will a one inch rod work well?
Asked by: Suzanne
It depends on the grommets some it will work fine with I have grommet curtains on a one inch rod in my master bedroom
