Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fit and long lasting I have been a RN for 30 years and have been wearing these compression stockings for the last 7 years and they are the best! They offer great support without sacrificing comfort. The toe box of these stockings give your toes wiggle room and the non binding band at the top of the stocking never binds or rolls and yet never slides down. Did I mention that they are also long lasting, never losing there support. Only wish I had found them sooner. May 22, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by description typo on website and JCP packaging said size 9-11. Original product packaging says 8-9 . product not big enough for sizes claimed . gave item away. April 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by hard to find item offered at Penney's! Not many retailers offer compression stockings. Thank you JCPenney for having these for women. I found men;s compression stockings at another retailer but none for women. These stockings allow me to see my true ankles and shins by removing the swelling when I wear these. I can wear them for a day or two and then have a week reprieve from the swelling before I need to wear them again. My only hope is that JCPenney starts making prints available in these stockings so we are not stuck with black and white. April 27, 2016

Rated 3 out of 5 by COMPRESSION SOCKS CONSTRICTING After I received the compression socks I learned that they are socks available in different strengths. I could not put these on and when the nurse put them on they hurt. April 6, 2016

I'm a 72 year old, physically active, male and my ankles swell every day. My doctor told me to get and wear compression stockings.

Are the Gold Tone Knee-High Compression Socks, web ID: 1229560 (white color), a good choice?

Are the sizes listed men's sizes?

Answer:
I bought a pair (in black, female) for a trip overseas. They were fantastic! I felt very comfortable during the long walks through the airports, on the plane, and walking through town. I would definitely recommend these.

Answer:
My husband is 65 years old and is still working a job that requires a lot of walking and standing. My daughter, who is a nurse and also is on her feet alot, recommended compression socks. We bought compression socks from two different stores: JC Penney and another store. My husband prefers the compression socks from JC Penney. He says they are easier to put on and has definitely helped his leg issues. So yes, we definitely recommend the compression socks from JC PENNEY.

These socks fit shoe sizes 5-10. For size 11 to 13, go to item number 1229208.
Either would work for your needs.

Answer:
I questioned spending this much on compression socks, yet do not regret this purchase one bit. Comfortable, durable, there is not a cut off at the knee at all. I bought two pairs and they are well-worth the investment. Buy them!
