by 1KatP Love the first pair, not the second
I purchased 2 pairs of the Lee® Classic-Fit Monroe within a month of each other both are size 6 tall., The first pair was blue Horizon and they were a perfect fit and look great, feel great and just the right lenght (I am 5'8" with a 33" inseam). I was in need of some black jeans and since I have a hard time finding my size in the stores (talls seem to only be stocked in our area in size 10 and up). I placed another on line order in exactly the same style and size in black. Unfortunately these were much longer (which would have been great if I was 5'10") and quite a bit wider in the leg than my first pair and just look baggy. I washed them in hot water and kept them in the dryer longer than needed to see if I could shrink them to be the same as the first pair but to no avail. The black also attracts more cat hair than any other black jeans I have ever owned. So I am giving them a 4 rather than a 5 that I would have after the first purchase. I think if you buy exact same pant but in different color they should be the same so the quality control is lacking. I highly recomend the Horizon but not the Black due to the cat hair issue, I will be returning those.See the pictures included.

by Lovethebeach2lake The jeans were a true white in color.
I am 5'3 and 150 pounds, I ordered a 10 P and the length was perfect. I still had plenty of room in the jeans even after I washed and dried them. Perfect for my end of summer beach trip. I had them shipped to my local JC Penny for in store pick up. It was easy and quick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rose918 Comfortable but Too Stretchy
I ordered these jeans in my usual size, and while they are nice and lightweight for hot weather, the material is WAY too stretchy and gets all loose and baggy by the end of the day. They are very comfortable, but don't look as flattering as the old Classic Jeans you used to sell. The old jeans material had body and held it's shape and made one look thinner because they "held everything in" and had a very smooth, slimming effect. These do just the opposite -- they do nothing to enhance your shape because they are just too stretchy. I would sacrifice a little bit of the comfort for a firmer, more figure-enhancing fit. I ordered the next smaller size and it is much better; however, I would not wear these jeans with a top tucked in, as they do not have that smooth look over the hips and thighs as the old jeans did, because of the thin, stretchy material. I would only wear them with the top out or with a blazer or sweater. I am over 55, but I do not look or dress like an "old lady," and I don't want my jeans to look like the polyester elastic-waist pants that they sell for old people! I still have a fairly good figure for my age and don't want something that makes me look worse instead of enhancing what I have. After all, if one is over 30, we need all the help we can get! If you do order these jeans, order a size SMALLER than you normally wear in Lee jeans or they will be swimming on you after a few hours. I am tall (5'10") and this is one reason I always order Lee Jeans, as they have the length I require, and this is still the case, but I wish they would bring back the less stretchy classic jean -- they were the best! I see many other reviewers have expressed this opinion, so get with it, Lee, before you lose a lot of loyal customers!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathi Never disappointed when buying the Lee brand
The fit and style are excellent, however; I had searched for black jeans in this style and when I ordered the horizon color which appeared to be black in the picture they actually are a very dark blue. These are being returned only due to the fact that black jeans are required for work but I will search the Lee brand and find the correct color. This brand wears and washes well and has been my go to jean for many years!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kelly They changed my favorite Jeans
I used to love my Lee Jeans. They've been my go to jeans forever. Recently they changed the fabric and the fit. I am sending 3 new pairs off to GoodWill. They are un-wearable. The fabric is thin, with way too much stretch in them. They bag in the crotch area. I am devastated. I wish that I would have know abot the change, I could have stocked up. Please bring back the old fabric and fit. REALLY PLEASE!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Leeguru Runs a bit large!
Have worn a size 4 for years. Now the size 4 is a bit large so I end up taking them in on the thigh portion! Otherwise they're really baggy! My biggest complaint is the size 4 in black is never available in a M or L length!

Rated 4 out of 5 by FrustratedShopper Inconsistent product
I purchased a pair of these in the store but they didn't have any more in my size, so I ordered two pair online, one in the same color I bought in the store (Pearl) and one in the color Seattle.
The "Pearl" pair I received from my online order are a completely different color from the ones I bought in the store, and they are marked as a "New Classic Fit", being just below the waist rather than at the waist that the other two pairs say on the tags. They also have that chemical smell you may see referenced in other reviews.
The other pair I ordered in the color Seattle are the same fit as what I purchased in the store.
So if you find a pair in the store you like, you're good to go. If you order online, you don't know what you're going to get.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Toddy These used to rate a 5 star...
I have been wearing these for several years and they were great! Amazing fit and quality! But now they are HORRIBLE AND CHEAPLY MADE!!! The fit and material is completely different from what they used to be. The waist was tight and went about and inch above my belly button, and the butt and legs were huge. Worst of all, the fabric is very, very thin. I even compared the material with an old pair I have that are very worn, and the old fabric is much heavier than these are brand new. I now find myself back on the hunt for a decent pair of jeans...
