I am a 32 DD and this bra is very comfortable with broad straps for added security. The material is soft as well.

I am not very busty (36C), and this bra was great for my shape--no gap at the top of the cup. My husband really liked how it was lower cut, more so than the T-shirt bras I usually buy. I will definitely be switching to demi bras and will probably order this same style again as it is fairly comfortable as far as bras go (lately I've been wearing sports bras all the time...it's certainly not as comfortable as those!). Maidenform is the only brand of underwire bra I have ever found bearable. The only negative about this bra is that the melted edge of the fabric next to the closure is a bit sharp and was scratchy when I first put it on, but after wearing it for a bit I no longer noticed it. I have had this problem with other bras before and read a similar comment on a different Maidenform style...I think in the past I successfully used a nail file or something to soften the edge a bit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Iluckycharms Sizes are much smaller than they ust to be using less fabric on the cups
I have been wearing this exact bra same size same cup 34D 7959 and they have cut the cut fabric down by at least an inch in the cup so I was spilling out of the cup. I took my older bra same bra 7959 same size 34d that I have had for two years and compared the cups and the fabric on the cup had been cut back by at least one inch. This was my favorite bra ever and now it is totally designed with less coverage so that more of your breast is exposed not a good bra for someone to buy if you wear v neck shirts or button down. If I wanted my breast popping out I would buy a push up. Not happy at all with the amount of fabric they took of the cups would not buy again or recommend to anyone. I bought 7 of the bras and returned them all for a refund. I also was told by the employee that that certain bra now tends to run smaller. Not really good for customers that know there size and just want a good tshirt bra. It fits more like a 34C than a 34D.

The bras that I liked wearing that I bought at JCP for years have been discontinued so I was in the search for something else. Easy I thought. After looking at bras in 3 different retail stores I found exactly what I wanted at Penney's. (again!) It seems like the majority of bras at stores are those hard, super padded bras that push you up and/or make you 2 cup sizes bigger. You know, the kind of bras you wanted to wear when you were 16. OR the other choice was those giant Playtex bras that just don't suit my small frame.
These bras have the right amount of lining and support well without all of that padding, etc. These are bras for real women. I will be re-purchasing.
My only complaint is unless you can purchase them on sale they are a bit pricey and too, they run small around the band. I'm normally a 34 but it was pretty tight but a 36 was too big. SO I solved the problem with a Maidenform bra extension tab thingy.
