Rated 3 out of 5 by TallKelly I should never have washed them
I purchased several pairs of tall jeans from JCPenney online. Out of all the pairs, these jeans fit the best. I recently lost weight so I wanted a jean that fit will and I didn't need a belt for. After selecting these jeans, I put them in the washer and dryer according to the directions. I was so excited to start to wear them. After about a 1 hour into wearing them, I could feel them sliding down. They are now to big to wear without a belt. I was very disappointed, because I paid more money for these and now I need to wear a belt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kveban2 The Dye From These Jeans Gets on Everything!
I don't write reviews that often but I felt I owed it to my fellow consumers to mention that the dye from these jeans (Dark Rinse color) gets all over everything! I'm on my 3rd wash with these jeans and I can't get the dye to stop getting all over my hands and socks and anything else that gets in contact with them - I even soaked them in a vinegar rinse for 1/2 day to get the jeans to stop bleeding and that didn't work! I find it very odd that very few people have mentioned the downside of these jeans - it's unfortunate because otherwise these are a nice pair of jeans - maybe a little too stretchy as well - but they look good with the denim jacket that matches (the denim jacket bleeds a lot too!) - today I'm washing the set again and I will try putting salt in the machine - it has been a big hassle trying to get this one pair of these jeans to stop bleeding, not to mention walking around in a cute outfit with blue hands all day from touching my jeans - I would not purchase these jeans again.

They are a little more flared than what I like for bootcut, other than that these look nice. The mercury wash color is made in Cambodia and are 99% cotton - 1% spandex. The dark rinse wash are made in Cambodia but are 80% cotton - 19%polyester - 1% spandex. So these will be hotter in the summertime. The classic fit straight leg LC jeans fit me a bit better. I will be returning these.

These are my favorite jeans! And I honestly do recommend them verbally to other women. I rarely buy any others. I buy the Tall size and after a few washes are perfect length for me. They are comfortable when I put them on and all through the day! I love the dark wash and no bling. They lose their dark color very slowly but for their great price, I buy a couple of new pair every year or so. Grateful to Penneys for carrying the Liz Claiborne brand.

Great fabric and color. I have other jeans from Liz and they fit just like these. The new jeans feel comfortable, just like old jeans.

Never tried on Liz Clairborne jeans before. Glad I did. This is one of two jeans I just purchased and both worked out to run a bit big for size 4. Size 4 is usually too small for me since I gained some weight but these are more like a 6 in other brands. Very stretchy, comfortable and I like where the waist falls. No fading, shrinking or bleeding in the wash. I would definitely recommend these to others. They were a steal in the clearance department!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Durhamzoo LOVE these jeans! But need in original (high waist) cut, too.
I absolutely love everything about these jeans except that they don't come in the original (high waist cut. They are nice-looking, long enough to wear a small 2" heel, and have just enough stretch. Did I mention they are very slenderizing? I've had more compliments on these jeans than I can count. One caveat, though, buy 2 sizes smaller than your normal size as they run very big. I'm 5'10" and usually a size 18 but a 14 fits me perfectly in these #and I do have a grandma-tummy#. They're snug right after washing but stretch out just a bit during the day for a perfect fit. I prefer the original cut/high waist in Liz Claiborne jeans because it feels better on me and it also eliminates that muffin-top bulge....hopefully these will one day also come in the original cut.... oh, and I didn't have any problem with the dye transferring onto other things. I would recommend washing them before wearing if in doubt.
