Rated 4 out of 5 by from I recommend ... with a word of caution: has the cut changed? I've been wearing these slacks for several years. (The seams on the dark colors eventually wash out, but they're still comfortable and good looking, especially for the money.) I just bought a pair of blue in 16W to replace a pair I've been wearing weekly for almost 2 years. They're definitely tighter in the tush and waist; I wonder if they've changed the cut recently. My others fit fine, I haven't gained weight (thankfully!) So back they'll go. Girls - these Lee slacks are very nice, but also look at Liz Claiborne Sophies. They're thinner, so not as warm in the winter, but wash and wear nicely and look professional for about the same price as the Lees.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ran small and long for me I'm 5'3" and the heavier side of 3x. I ordered the 24w in regular length (M). Lee is a new brand for me and I'm finding out they run small for me. But maybe it's just my body type, which makes it hard for me to find clothes that fit (bearish build). I usually wear a 24 in my other favorite brands. And sometimes I need petite length and sometimes I don't (I like a bit of extra length). These weren't crazy long but I'd prefer shorter. The waist was a no-go, however. It felt maybe 2 sizes too small for me. I would still recommend these. The fabric and style is awesome and just what I was looking for. But if you are slimmer around the belly it will probably fit you best. I am returning these but not giving up on Lee... just going to size up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have been buying this style of pants for 20 years These are the only pants that I can find that fit me without needing alteration and are currently the only style pants in my wardrobe, but fortunately I live a casual lifestyle and rarely need dressy slacks. I buy the Petites, or sometimes the Misses Short and the length is usually perfect. I have a relatively small waist and am quite full across the hips and backside, and these pants are styled exactly in proportion to my figure. Unfortunately, they can only be bought on the website and each pair in the same size fits differently. So, I can't try on several pairs in the store to find the best fit but must order at least 5 pairs to get 3 that fit well, and then return the others. They wash well and come out of the dryer unwrinkled. I only use the twill, although the Lee Side-Elastic style also comes in denim, which is not as flattering to my figure. I would be forced to diet and exercise strenously if Lee ever stops manufacturing this style pants!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Starts out nice Brand new out of the package these are nice and the fit is a little bigger than expected. After the first wash the first thing you notice is you have to iron them because they wrinkle badly. They shrink a little and the fit is perfect after the first wash. The wrinkles really stand out on the lighter color. I bought one of each color and they all do the same thing. I turn them inside out when washing to try to avoid fading, but they seem to lose the finish and look faded pretty quickly. I will not buy them again. Got me once with these - never again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Found Them At Last I had a "hand-me-down" pair of these twill Lee Jeans that I literally wore to death and had to find them. I bought so many Lee Jeans that I ended up returning not realizing that the ones I was looking for are a little "special" and maybe do cost a little bit more money but sooooo worth it! I have only found them at JCPenney and now that I have found them (and bought them in both the twill and the jeans and love them both) I truly doubt that I will ever buy any other pair of jeans or pants. I ordered them to be delivered to a store to not have to pay shipping 'cause I don't think they are stocked at many of the stores but I don't know. But trust me IF you like pants that go up to the waist and have give and are comfortable, this is it/them!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have been purchasing these pants for two years and I wear them everyday to work. They are comfortable, affordable, and durable. My favorite pants. I absolutely love the fabric used for these pants. It's durable, machine washable, and no iron is needed if you hang them up right out of the dryer. I do iron mine to give it that crisp look with the crease down the middle, but you don't have to iron. I wear them everyday. I don't know why, but sometimes they run large and sometimes not. I always order the same size and colors and sometimes the cut is a little too big. I have noticed the black pants only that they seem to shrink a bit and fit snugger after several washes than the other colors. It might be the dye used. Also, the zipper on two of my black pants have easily broken. I have been able to return and get a replacement with no problem. Overall, I love these pants and depend on them for everyday wear to work. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Why Tapered Legs? I have been buying these pants for years, they run true to size, good fabric, partial elastic on waist, nice deep pockets, and very comfortable, EXCEPT for the tapered legs! Why oh why can't they be made with a straight leg?! Feels great until you sit down or bend over and the leg bottom gets stuck on the bottom of your calf. Also, tapered legs on a heavy women? I look like a balloon! Come on, make them in straight legs!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's the pattern, not us. These pants used to be great, but the last time I ordered them, I found out that now the fit is horrible. I talked to the company and they have redone the pattern and given it a contemporary slim fit with at least one inch off of the waist and more off of the hips and rear. They said that they've received lots of complaints and are going to start production of the old fit soon, but they said this back in May and I still have not heard anything else. So, I don't know if we'll ever get our "old style" back. Very sad, because I could always rely on the fit and quality.

I have large calves. Are the legs loose fitting or do they run tight?

Asked by: Kickballmom
They are going to be snug to tight on larger calves. If you don't like the feel of pants on your calves, don't buy these.
