Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice discovery I had gone into two Penney stores looking for Navy slacks in the Worthington brand. None in Navy at either store. But, at 2nd store I came across the LIZ slacks in Navy, a tad more expensive, but tried thm on and they actually fit me better than what I'm used to wearing. At 5'9" and 155 lbs, they were abundantly long. YES! Washed them, air-dryed in the dryer a few turns, then hung. The next morning, looked brand new, crease like direct from cleaners. Needless to say, I'm impressed and will look to the LIZ brand as my go-to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit! Liz Claiborne pants are back! I always wore Liz clothing before - that classic look. I worried when the store closed and items were available at JC Penney and they had a new designer. In the beginning the clothing looked like they were for a younger age person and these pants are very similar to ones I bought years ago. I like the different styles of these pants. It is hard to find trousers that are not very low cut and these sit at the waist.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not For Me Does no one produce dress slacks for women with a button closure, zipper and pockets???? NO hook closure, HATE IT. Picture online did NOT show the hook or I would have not ordered them. Plus I order straight leg--I should not be able to fly if the wind blows--if it is a true straight leg s slack/trouser. What is WRONG with companies today?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from work wardrobe essential I've had several pairs of these classics - in every color and both fabrics (traditional poly/rayon/spandex and transitional cotton/spandex) - for over a year now and they continue to be an every day, go-to, favorite. Although I wear a size smaller in Liz Claiborne than comparable and luxury designer brands, the style and fit are fantastic - comfortable, well-proportioned, and very flattering. The poly/rayon drapes extremely well and the cotton is ideal for warm weather. These trousers wear well through the day, do not wrinkle excessively, and are easily refreshed (I toss them in the dryer on low heat with a slightly damp microfiber cloth treated with a little fabric softener) for a second day of wear. Since I am not a fan of mornings, ironing, or frequently replacing businesswear staples, I've had them dry cleaned and they still look new. I also own the color-coordinated Liz Claiborne jackets, as well as several pairs of the Sophie trousers, and am extremely pleased with all of the pieces. The quality, value, and timeless versatility are easily worth twice the price - or more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Slacks I normally don't have much luck with buying dress slacks. They seemed to never fit right but these fit perfectly. Very slimming and the Petite size is perfect for my 5'3" frame. Initially bought 10 Petite/Short but they were too short. Came out of the wash looking great and after drying on low heat for a short amount of time they were not wrinkled. I'm already thinking of buying another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and Comfortable This is the second pair of dress pants that I have purchased in this design. I already own about 10 pairs of black dress pants but once I purchased these in gray, I knew that I needed to purchase in black as well. Very flattering and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits well I ordered these in petite. The length fit very well. I am 5'3. The pants are very good quality and lasted through many washes. Great value for the price. They look very professional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect pants for work! Fit is true to size. They wash great, go through the dryer better than expected, and touch-up in 2 minutes if you forget. I wish they came in more colors. Not much difference between navy and black. For me, the fit is great. Not too big or small in the right areas. I am 5'8", size 14 or 16 regular. I have one pair size 14, one size 16. The 16 has a gap in the back, but the hips fit better. The 14 is more flattering, but by the end of the day it seems they get baggy in the seat and thigh. Nice to know I can buy either size and it will work.

Is the "black multi" a smooth textured fabric or rough? The picture looks like tweed which is kind of rough in texture.

Asked by: hkey31

slant pockets (from front to side) which lay flat; not side-seam pockets so you won't get any gaps

do these pants have any stretch to them and if so, is it alot or a little?

I'm in between sizes 12 & 14 so knowing how much stretch these pants have helps. I'm bigger in the thigh and butt area.
Asked by: jenrey69
No, there is no stretch in them.
