Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice The dress does not have a defined waist, it hangs straight down from the shoulders. Nicely lined, nice material. I did have an issue with getting the wrinkles out of it even after following the washing instructions to a "t". I had to press with a steam iron and still not totally gone, Perhaps in time. Will be useful with any jacket, wrap, coat, lots of possibilities to dress up or down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit. I had purchased this dress in a size 10P about four years ago.Since then I have lost weight and didn't have time to go shopping before the holidays. Ordered the exact same dress in a size 6P and it fits perfectly. Got it in about 4 days. Great Job JCP.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality materials, poor fit I purchased this dress online without trying it on. I purchased my regular size, which is 12. The good: this dress is a good quality fabric (it is woven, NOT knit as stated in the ad and has very little stretch), it is lined, and the lining is attached with thread chains (not sewn in) which makes alterations easier. There are French darts instead of the traditional darts, which are nice. The bad: the fit on this is very odd. The waist is large, the dress fits more like a shift than a sheath. The dress does not have any shape and hangs from my bust line making it appear that I am pregnant. If you like Lilly Pulitzer style shifts, are small busted and would like a shift for a business environment, you might like it. I am keeping it but only because it was so inexpensive and I can add vertical darts to improve fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from slimming dress love love love this dress ! the lining is very smooth and slimming. as soon as i zipped up, feels like a shaping dress. i'm 5'3 and 140 lbs and this dress nails it. not too snug not too loose. and very modest, too. design is simple but really classy when tried on. can be dressed up and down. i paired it off with a silver chain belt for a wedding and got lots of compliments. if i was to shop at the store, i would probably have missed out. thanks to online shopping and the reviews. i actually got 8 p & 10 p as i wasn't sure which one will fit me good. 10 p is just perfect ! a real keeper !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect "little black dress"! I am 65 years old and have been looking for the perfect "little black dress" for months. I wanted something simple, classic, and something that could be dressed up or down. This Liz Claiborne dress fit the bill perfectly! It looks like a million bucks but was incredibly affordable. The fit is perfect, fabric exactly what I wanted, the dress is lined and has that expensive, classic style I was looking for. Couldn't be happier!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great value, fair fit My measurements are 32/25/35 and I am 5'4" so I ordered a size 2P, a little worried about the waist but willing to risk it for such a good deal. When I received the item and tried it on, it turns out it is baggy all over, especially around the waist, and a little shorter than I would have liked (approx. 3" below fingertips vs. just above the knee). The length is forgivable (aka my fault) since I believe 5'4" is on the cusp of petite height, but the fit is definitely off. Despite my complaints, it still looks pretty good on, although it was not exactly what I was expecting. I am going to try cinching the waist with a thin belt to give it a little more shape and hope that doesn't shorten the length up too much more.

Is this dress lined? I read a recent review which contradicted older reviews that the dress does have a lining.

Asked by: Mommajonesy
Yes, amazingly with really nice lining just like an expensive tailored dress!
