Rated 5 out of 5 by One of my favorites This is my fourth pair of Worthington slacks and another great score. I didn't think it was possible to look great and feel great in business casual clothes but Worthington makes it happen. December 2, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Different Makers?? I ordered these pants in Jan, deep chocolate and the fit was perfect! Placed another order because I liked the pants so much in February in black, same size, just different color. Pants where extremely tight in the waist(no I hadn't gain any weight!!!) and the thigh area was extremely tight. When I returned them, I inquired with the associate if I had received the modern fit by mistake(I own a few pair in the past). She informed me about the difference between the curvy fit and the modern fit, and the way it was described, I know I didn't receive the right pair. I really like my deep chocolate pair, so I decided to give it another try. I ordered the black again and also the navy last week. Well this time the black pants fit great, just like the deep chocolate pair, however the navy pair don't!!! I laid the navy pair on top of the black pair and they are not the same!! These are great pants if you can get the correct ones!! March 11, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good fitting, roomy dress pants. These are very roomy with adequate length. The color was true to the color on the computer. No problems with them. April 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tall Fit These curvy fit slacks were just great for me and I look forward to wearing them. JCP clothes for tall women fit me good and are not so outrageously expensive. I have worn them for years and continue to look to JCP when I need clothes. April 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable work pants These pants fit and look great! The waist fits very nicely, even on my high hips, with plenty of length from hip to crotch to prevent the pants from riding up. The length is mostly fine, I'm 6'3", so usually pants are too short for me. Great purchase and I'll definitely buy more! April 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice and long I am six foot 2 inches tall and these pants are plenty long. I have a small waist and large hips. They fit my curves well. They are very comfortable. April 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fit and feel I am pleased with the length, and fit. The color of the pants was rich and it appears to last. April 14, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice dress pants I use these for work and they are very comfortable, wash up nice, if I pull them from dryer and hang up, don't have to iron. They do run close to a size big. I ordered a tall length and they are perfect length, I'm 5' 10". April 7, 2016

Are these pants wrinkle resistant? I'm looking for pants to take on a two week trip and I'll be living out of a suitcase. Thanks! (WHY are there so many 'wrinkle-free options for men's pants and not for women's?)

They don't wrinkle, but I always press the hanger fold out of pants. I don't know if the folds will come out after being packed.

Answer:
Yes, wrinkle resistant but not wrinkle free. They will hold up OK in a suitcase if you pack carefully but you can't "shake out" or hang out the wrinkles.

Yes, these are wrinkle resistant. I have to stay overnight on call at work occasionally and I will pack a pair in my call bag for the next day. They stay nicely.

Answer:
Curvy is slightly bigger in the hip/seat and modern fit is more straight in the waist to hip area. I get both and the fit isn't terribly different except for a little bit of room in the hip/seat area.

Answer:
I also noticed that the Curvy Fit is smaller in the waist and leave more room for the backside and thighs. What's great about the Curvy Fit is that this size generally solves the problem for those prone to "the gap in the back." I'm 24 years old. In a Modern Fit, I have to wear a size 6 and suffer with a a gap in the back of my pants with a bit of slack at the back of my thighs. If I try to go smaller, the pants fit in the waist, but are too tight in the backside and thighs. In a Curvy Fit, I am a size 4 with no gap in the back while still compensating for my full backside and thighs (perfect!). It is by far the best fitting for my figure (curvy rather than straight). Hope this helps!

Answer:
I don't have these particular pants, however in general I have found curvy fit pants to be somewhat fulller in the hips and rear. I typically wear a size 12 in pants and have a 30" waist and 40" hips and the curvy pants are generally not good fits for me. I do better with the regular fits in pants and personally stay away from curvy. You may have to try some curvy pants on at a store first to see what works best for your particular figure.

Answer:
Curvy Fit pants have a smaller waist relative to hips and are for fuller thighs. They suit my figure but I can wear both styles. I wear one size larger in Modern Fit than in Curvy Fit. A woman with a straight body probably can't wear Curvy Fit.
Some of Curvy Fit pants this season have small straight-across front pockets right under the waistband rather than wide slash pockets. Not as accessible as slash pockets.

The curvy fit pants seem to run to big in the waist for me. I typically wear size 6 in all pants (34 1/2 inseam). If my waist is 27 - 27 1/2 and hips 38, what fit would be best for me in JCPenney pants? Modern fit? Thanks :)

Answer:
From searching the site, the answer is, It depends how tall you are.
Some Worthington curvy fit pants come in "tall" which lists a 35 1/2 " inseam and starts at size 6.
Other styles come in "misses long" which lists a 35 " inseam and starts at size 2.
The Worthington Curvy Fit pants that I bought recently run large. I normally wear size 8 or 10 in pants but in these I wear a 6 (misses regular).
