Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect and stylish pair of work boots I work in NYC and got these as they looked good and had good reviews. Wow! The snow storm here with rain made everything slushy and the infamous NY Slush pools at the corner of every street was everywhere. I had to step directly into several of them to get around the City and was so surprised that the boots held up the way they did. I did get a slight bit of moisture on my socks around the draw strings, but it was my fault for not tying the boot tighter. but he amount was less than if my feet had sweated in the boot. My feet for all intents and purposes were dry. This is with the boots completely submerged in the slush pool up to the cuffs of my pants. If I was not lazy and had properly tightened the boot, I would 100% dry. Great boot, no slipping grips well and fantastic on the water proofing. Not sure why others would say that they got wet feet, unless they did not tie the boots properly. Only thing better would be rubber galoshes, IMHO. Would recommend them in a heartbeat, in fact my co-worker's shoes were falling apart and I showed him my boots and he is now looking to buy a pair himself.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I had a brown pair - great ... black - not so much I've had a brown or tan pair for a couple of years and loved them so I ordered a black pair. They were on sale plus a discount so were about 1/2 price. When I got them, they looked ok but it took a couple of weeks for me to wear them. The fit was fine and I wore them all day the first time. Very comfortable. I took them off and began to wipe them down just to get some water spots off. I wiped the right boot and nothing on the rag, I wiped the left boot and nothing on the rag until I got to the toe and noticed a brown color on the rag. I wiped more (again with just water) and more brown came off but just on the toe. Upon closer examination, the right toe was smooth and black but the left toe now had a brownish tint and I could see grooves in it like it had been hit with a wire brush. In the one picture, you can see the brown color on a rag and kind of see the color difference between the 2 toes. In the other picture, if you can see it, shows the grooves and brownish tint. I have never had an issue like this with a pair of shoes or boots. I'm sure I can take them back but I doubt JCP will do an exchange so I'll have to wait until they go on sale again and I have a coupon or try to find them someplace else. Kind of sux because they are a nice pair of boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Boots I've Ever Owned These are the best boots I've ever owned. I wear them hiking and camping in the worst weather. Rain, snow, mud; they are waterproof through and through. Super comfortable. I also just wear them around when I need something warmer than just sneakers. They're amazing. I've had them just a year now and put them through a lot, but they look and perform exactly like the day I got them. I expect these things to last many years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought these for twenty years I have been wearing wolverine boots for over twenty years. I have never dissatisfied or disappointed with these boots. I remember watching films with Jean claude van dam and his movies got me hooked on wearing these boots. For the price they are worth them. I had bought boots for less and have always been dissatisfied. Water resistant, longer wear resistant and comfort are all there. I will continue to wear these boots. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweepstakes Entry Sweepstakes Entry: I buy these when on sale for my boyfriend who works in construction, as you can imagine he goes through boots and clothes very fast. But these hold up the best, and keep his feet dry, and he states have been the most comfortable boots he has tried. We only had one pair where the hard rubber heel broke off, but we contacted wolverine and they reimbursed us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good boots I was looking for some boots that were comfortable and waterproof. These fit the bill perfectly and at a good price. I always put foam or gel insoles in anyway and these have been very comfortable to wear all day long. I have been very pleased with this purchase and would buy another pair in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wouldn't buy again I bought these waterprool hiking boots because I needed a pair for work. The price seemed reasonable & I was hopeful. They are comfortable, but do not keep my feet dry. I've worn them several times in wet grass (not even in rain) & ended up with wet feet. I would not recomment them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Boot We live in Iowa, lots of snow. It's been 2 years since we ordered the first pair. These boots held up great, feet stay dry and my husband love them also for their comfort. We're ordering a second pair, just to have them.

Wolverine® Spencer Waterproof Hiker Boot

Hello! In Russia I bought 41 size of footwear. Prompt, what size Wolverine® Spencer Waterproof Hiker Boot to me needs to be bought now on the Internet, what it would be on my size?
Asked by: cpzao
A size 41 would be about a size 8 1/2 in America. However the conversion is not exact. If at all possible you will want to try these on before you buy them.

Good for motorcycle use?

Asked by: MJB9
I ride sport bikes and would personally never suggest anyone wearing anything except riders boots that offer ankle, foot, and shin armor. However, if I was to wear a non-motorcycle boot on a ride, I'd pick these over anything else in my closet.
