Rated 3 out of 5 by from here's the reason for only three stars... These pants look good and feel great. The problem? No front pockets, and what teacher do you know who doesn't need pockets everywhere? Had to send them back even though I love the fabrication. It wears like iron, is soft and comfortable, and is dressy. Too bad--the lack of pockets ruined it for me, and the ones in the back are totally worthless for me. It was not the product; it was only the fact that they had no front pockets that sent them back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from More fullness in hips and front than I needed! Oh my, these are really very good looking slacks but I guess the "curvy fit" means extra fabric in the hips and front.. I had never tried this style before and unfortunately the fit was not for me and I had to return them. But I still recommend these slacks for the right figure type, and I so appreciated being able to order "short" length. The waist was true to size.
Date published: 2016-10-24
Rated 3 out of 5 by from What is up with the length? The pants are a great fabric! They are perfect except for the length! I am 5'6". The average length should be the correct inseam but these are almost 4" too long! And they are not available in the extended sizes in a short. I have never worn a short inseam ... ever! But I will have to have them hemmed before I can even wear them. What's up Worthington manufacturers?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved these pants! Got two pairs. Want them in more colors! These pants are some of the most comfortable pants I've ever bought. They may be the most comfortable. They fit well, look good and are just right! Thank you for making them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worthington has found a new customer Worthington is a wonderful line of clothing for plus women, like myself. I will continue with Worthington.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great product. I really like these pants. The fit is true to size. I am a full figured woman and the pants are extremely comfortable. I love how the pants look and feel on. The pants are very flattering to my full figure. I have actually bought the exact same pants in several different colors. I would recommend these pants to any full figured woman.
Date published: 2016-10-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thanks for Good Fitting Dress Pants I have been buying Worthington pants for a while now. I appreciate the quality, fit, look and comfort they provide. Being a large woman and finding pants with a good fit is no easy task. A lot of vendors seem to think that all "plus sizes" end at "24". I wish they were available in more colors. Keep up the good work Penney's.

You don't say how tall, but I am 5'5 and they are perfect for me, slightly long with flats on though. My friend who is 5'9 loves the length and doesn't have to go to the "tall".

Answer:
These pants run long in my opinion. I am 5'3", a size 18 with a short waist line. The plus size was 3-4 inches too long without heels. I typically wear 2-3 inch heels and they still dragged the ground. The plus-short is the perfect length for my height. So if you're around 5'6" the plus size should be ok. If you're over 5'7", I'd try the plus-tall if that option is available. Also, the pants have a 1 1/2" hem, including 1/2" hem tape sewn to raw edge of pants leg. So there is room to alter the hem. Hope this Info. helps with your decision.

Slacks are sized by the "inner" or "inside" seam. So, measure from your crotch to the top of your foot where you would like the slacks to fall, and use this as your buying guide.

I am 5'7" with long legs. The length is great, with several inches to spare. Also, they have a great return policy. The fit is very comfortable and flattering and as a plus size individual, I don't always find a good fit.

Well I'm plus size 18/20 and short (5' 2") and had to take about 1 1/2 inches off to wear the pants with flats... If I was gonna wear them with heels all the time I would have taken off less. Hope this helps

I have the same issues. Slacks are sized by the "inner" or "inside" seam. So, measure from your crotch to the top of your foot where you would like the hem to fall, and use that as your buying guide. Otherwise, when they say something runs "long", you have nothing to measure that against.

Answer:
From my experience, I would say buy "curvy fit". The trousers do tend to be long. I buy plus extended and I end up having about 8 inches cut-off at the tailor's. I am 5' 2". My hope is that plus extended sizes will become available in "SHORT". After all, everyone is not tall. Hope this helps. Good luck with your purchase.

Curvy is much roomier than modern. Much more comfortable around the waist. The regular runs long so if you are shorter than average buy short to have a safe length.

Answer:
I personally like the curvy fit better than the modern. I, too, have a tummy and large butt, and the curvy fit gives me enough room to be comfortable. I am also 5'4" and have to hem the pants about an inch or so. I've never tried the "short" size, but it would probably work well.

Good luck!

Are the calves roomy
I have thick calves and it is hard to find dress pants that look nice if I buy the correct size. I am a 16W, but the bottom portion of the pants always seem too snug, and getting them bigger looks horrible.

Answer:
The waist was true to size and the length was short as ordered, but there was way too much fabric on my tummy and hips - and the fabric bunched up and made me look heavier. I would not fit in a lower size.

I'm 5' 31/2" and can live with the 30" inseam although it is a touch too long. However, the short only comes in three colors apparently and I would like a bit more choice in my wardrobe. Can I order the regular length and have it hemmed as much as 3" without destroying the look of the pantleg?

I think you can hem them without taking away from the overall look. I bought the petite and they're a bit too long for me, so I'll probably be hemming those anyway. Really is a shame they limit the color selections for petite.
