Rated 2 out of 5 by from Different Makers?? I ordered these pants in Jan, deep chocolate and the fit was perfect! Placed another order because I liked the pants so much in February in black, same size, just different color. Pants where extremely tight in the waist(no I hadn't gain any weight!!!) and the thigh area was extremely tight. When I returned them, I inquired with the associate if I had received the modern fit by mistake(I own a few pair in the past). She informed me about the difference between the curvy fit and the modern fit, and the way it was described, I know I didn't receive the right pair. I really like my deep chocolate pair, so I decided to give it another try. I ordered the black again and also the navy last week. Well this time the black pants fit great, just like the deep chocolate pair, however the navy pair don't!!! I laid the navy pair on top of the black pair and they are not the same!! These are great pants if you can get the correct ones!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best dress pants These pants are so comfy and fit me perfectly, I'm 6'0" and west a 14, they are long and aren't too tight in the bum and leg area. They was well and hold up nicely so I went back and bought more! Wish they sold them in the stores!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not curvy fit at all I have been wearing the Worthington Curvy Trouser Pants in size 4 short for the past three or four years and have always been satisfied when I purchased them in any color until now. I ordered one pair in black and another in neutral stripe. Since I'd read some negative reviews I was skeptical but didn't try them on as soon as I got them home. I wish I had. The black pants were more snug in the thighs and hips but I figure they will loosen with wear. The neutral pair in the same size were much tighter all over than the black pair so I have to return them. My husband said they fit me nothing like my old Worthington's that thankfully still look great. I'm going to try on the black ones again and if I'm not comfortable with the fit, I will return them, too. Please bring back the old curvy fit. What in the world happened and why do different colors fit differently???

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What did you do with my old Curvy Style Pants Less than 2 years ago I owned almost every color these pants came in. I loved the Curvy Fit pants esp. in Petite lengths. I recently lost a dress size and ordered several new pairs. I was shocked how JCP had changed this particular pant. Its now got that cheap stretchy material and its much thinner than my old pants (which I still have to compare with. Even after wearing them once a week for 2 years they were in better shape then the new ones I ordered). JCP has changed the fit as well even though it states Curvy. The new pants are lose in the waist and tight in the thighs. Its really odd, it seems they aren't portionally made. Well maybe for someone who has no curves. I beg JCP please bring back the Curvy fit Petites you had a few years back. Really, like 2012 style. 5'2 size 8 Petite was 10P

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Favorite Work Pants I'm 6'2" & have the worst luck with work pants! I got these in khaki last summer & they are now my go-to pants (size 12T). The waist fits me perfectly (I am curvy & usually I have to buy bigger pants for my hips & wear a belt to hold the waist!) I don't have to wear a belt & they don't drag the ground either. Lightweight material is great for summer. They have held up with regular washing & wearing with no holes or tears. The only bad thing is the fabric is a little thin & clingy, so it does show off some lumps & bumps, but I really don't care. I got a pair that was not curvy fit & they did not fit! I'm ordering some more today since I have yet to find other pants I like this much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reaonably-priced low-maintenance beautiful pants I got these pants in gray and black. They are on the thinner side (as others have said), but to me, because of the fabric, they draped beautifully. I wear hose under my pants - they are like spankx for your legs! I am 5'10 and weigh about 190. The 14s were way too big in my waist. If you are apple shape, keep that in mind. If you are a super pear lke me and you have to size up so that the pants fit your caboose and thighs, keep in mind that these are kind of more for apples. I reordered in 12L so we'll see. Overall, highly recommended - they drapw like fine wool. They are gorgeous for the price. Definitely try them out. Oh yeah - I am 5'10" and I got the talls and they look great with my 3" heels. Quite long.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened? I used to love shopping JCPenney. Exersion brand for workout clothes and Worthington for work. The Curvy and Modern fit angle pocket pants always fit perfect, but they have the cut totally wrong now. The "curvy" pants are super tight in the thighs and loose in the rear/ waist, it's just ridiculous. Also, I swear you can try on 5 of the same pant size/ color and each one will fit differently...if I'm lucky I will find one that fits right, but lately - no dice. Now I can only buy shirts. Also, every time I go to shop online everything is out of stock. I mean, it's bad enough when all sizes except XS are out, but why even have an item on the site when there is ZERO stock at all? So frustrating, please JCPenney, start making the pants like you used to!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad design for front/side pockets I bought several colors of these pants at one time. They fit fine but was very distressed with the front/side pockets. They open at the top like a watch pocket. You can't get you hand into it without a struggle. Will not buy these pants again with this type of pocket!!! Have bought tall Worthington pants many times in the past and I expected the pockets to open on the side as they always have been.

Answer:
If you have a more narrow waist but fuller through the hips and thighs, you will want curvy fit. The modern fit is a slimmer fit.

Answer:
Curvy is slightly bigger in the hip/seat and modern fit is more straight in the waist to hip area. I get both and the fit isn't terribly different except for a little bit of room in the hip/seat area.

Answer:
I also noticed that the Curvy Fit is smaller in the waist and leave more room for the backside and thighs. What's great about the Curvy Fit is that this size generally solves the problem for those prone to "the gap in the back." I'm 24 years old. In a Modern Fit, I have to wear a size 6 and suffer with a a gap in the back of my pants with a bit of slack at the back of my thighs. If I try to go smaller, the pants fit in the waist, but are too tight in the backside and thighs. In a Curvy Fit, I am a size 4 with no gap in the back while still compensating for my full backside and thighs (perfect!). It is by far the best fitting for my figure (curvy rather than straight). Hope this helps!

Answer:
I don't have these particular pants, however in general I have found curvy fit pants to be somewhat fulller in the hips and rear. I typically wear a size 12 in pants and have a 30" waist and 40" hips and the curvy pants are generally not good fits for me. I do better with the regular fits in pants and personally stay away from curvy. You may have to try some curvy pants on at a store first to see what works best for your particular figure.

Answer:
Curvy Fit pants have a smaller waist relative to hips and are for fuller thighs. They suit my figure but I can wear both styles. I wear one size larger in Modern Fit than in Curvy Fit. A woman with a straight body probably can't wear Curvy Fit.
Some of Curvy Fit pants this season have small straight-across front pockets right under the waistband rather than wide slash pockets. Not as accessible as slash pockets.

Are these pants wrinkle resistant? I'm looking for pants to take on a two week trip and I'll be living out of a suitcase. Thanks! (WHY are there so many 'wrinkle-free options for men's pants and not for women's?)

Yes, wrinkle resistant but not wrinkle free. They will hold up OK in a suitcase if you pack carefully but you can't "shake out" or hang out the wrinkles.

The curvy fit pants seem to run to big in the waist for me. I typically wear size 6 in all pants (34 1/2 inseam). If my waist is 27 - 27 1/2 and hips 38, what fit would be best for me in JCPenney pants? Modern fit? Thanks :)

Answer:
From searching the site, the answer is, It depends how tall you are.
Some Worthington curvy fit pants come in "tall" which lists a 35 1/2 " inseam and starts at size 6.
Other styles come in "misses long" which lists a 35 " inseam and starts at size 2.
The Worthington Curvy Fit pants that I bought recently run large. I normally wear size 8 or 10 in pants but in these I wear a 6 (misses regular).
