I do agree with the last (first?) reviewer that the fabric is pretty different from the usual stuff at JCP. It is a strange cross between "parachute" material, denim, and 70s polyester. I was a little turned off at first, but after wearing it awhile I really, really like the way the material moves. It seems classier and a little more upscale than the typical Worthington pants. I think this particular style runs a tiny bit big, though (not quite a full size). Also, petites sizing is no longer for petites (i.e. women around 5'0" to 5'2"). Apparently, all petite women wear 4-inch heels on the regular or 5'4'' and 5'5" are considered petites. If you're actually petite, "downgrade" to the petite short. :(

For a pair of pants that doesn't even have an ounce of cotton in it, it washed up just like cotton. It shrunk at least two inches in the dryer on the lowest setting for 1/2 the dry time, and the pants are wrinkled like twill pants. Wore them twice after the first wash... will be giving these away.
