What is JCPenney Cares?

We launched JCPenney Cares in July 2012 as our new corporate giving program at JCPenney. It's a better way of doing good, and our promise that our responsibility to our communities doesn't end at our front door.

What is the round up program?

JCPenney uses the Round Up program as a way for our consumers to be part of our giving. JCPenney customers choose to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar with the difference going towards a cause. Be sure to visit jcp.com/jcpcares to learn more about how the program is helping to make a difference.

Can my organization apply for funding from JCPenney Cares?

At this time, JCPenney is not receiving applications or letters of request for funding, except by invitation.

I am an individual raising funds for a cause. Can I receive a donation?

Unfortunately not. We award grant funding only to eligible nonprofit organizations that are exempt from taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Tax Code.
