Simply Calphalon and Calphalon Unison: What’s the Difference?
Simply Calphalon line is nonstick, features medium gauge cookware, and the cookware is made from hard-anodized aluminum. The sturdy and well-designed handles are covered with silicone to provide a solid grip and prevent burns to your hands. With the Simply line, you’re going to have to break out the dishwashing liquid because you can only hand wash this cookware. You can safely put these pots and pans into the oven in temperatures up to 400 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Calphalon Unison is also nonstick but it's constructed from a heavy gauge hard anodized aluminum. The handles are 'stay cool' stainless steel, meaning they won’t get hot while you’re cooking. If you dread the thought of hand washing your pots and pans, you’re in luck with the Calphalon Unison line. All the cookware in this line is dishwasher safe! On top of being dishwasher safe, the Unison line is oven safe at temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit – that’s 50 to 100 degrees more than the Simply Calphalon.
