Liz Claiborne® Kathryn Brights Grommet-Top Insert Valance

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meet expectations. They are perfect for my guest bedroom! The color matches perfect. I just put the valances up. As for durability, I think they are made well and will around for a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Silky drapes I bought these in "worn indigo" (a shiny navy) to replace a set of back-tab blackout curtains with grommet-tops. This lets me easily open the drapes and let the sun in during the day to warm up the room in winter. They aren't as thick as the previous curtains and not quite as room-darkening (the lining is white); specifically, when light comes through the slats in the blinds behind the curtains at a certain angle, the light is quite visible. Most of the time, though, they are room-darkening. I had hoped to find drapes that had a subtle pattern and feared these would be too plain, but they reflect light like satin and create their own pattern of light and dark. They do need ironing, despite having been put in the dryer on low for about 20 minutes before I hung them. At the 50% off sale price, they're a real bargain!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good and Bad The material is good, the color is nice. The backing is a greyish color. The problem with them is that they don't block enough light and when the sun comes through there is a pink glow in the whole room. It's not pleasant. If they were better at the room darkening I would have rated them higher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panels The Material is so rich and wrinkles fall out, they hang beautifully and the colors are vibrant. The stitching is perfect and uniform from one panel to the other. LOVE them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Curtains I usually do not do reviews, but these curtains were so beyond my expectations that I had to do a review to tell you, these curtains are awesome! They are silky and I ordered 4 in turquoise and 2 in black. i was nervous about ordering black but my son wanted them and I went for it. They are not dreery but very elegant! And for the first time ever I decided to order short ones to replace the long ones, and I love them even more than ever! It really made the room appear much larger by doing that, and we get better heat without registers covered when we close the curtains. I did iron every single one which maximizes their beauty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful LOVE LOVE LOVE these curtains. The color is gorgeous and the fabric is beautiful. They far surpassed my expectations. I am thrilled with my purchase. These were going to be temporary until I could get a company out to install custom curtains but they look so good I am keeping them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great room darkening and overall good quality The black curtains provide excellent room darkening. They have a light gray lining on the other side. The only complaint I have (which I saw that another reviewer also mentioned) is with the uneven hems. The gray lining on one of the two panels hangs below the black. I would suggest ordering extra panels to ensure you have even hems and then return the extra.

What color are the grommets on the worn indigo panels...brushed nickel, bronze, gold? Thank you!!

Asked by: Jeannette
I believe they are a dark brushed nickel. I used a brushed nickel curtain rod and the grommets do not clash.
