Christmas Charcuterie Board Recipe
A great recipe to get your kids involved.
1 Provolone cheese in a star shape
Step 1: Cut up different cheeses and vegetables on the cutting board.
Step 3: Start with the cubed pepper jack, followed by cherry tomatoes, cheddar cheese, green grapes, provolone cheese, and purple grapes. To make this in the shape of the Christmas tree, make sure that as you’re going up, it just looks smaller and smaller.
Step 4: Use a star cookie cutter to cut out the provolone cheese that will sit at the top of the cutting board like a tree topper.
Step 5: Set pretzel sticks at the bottom. You simply need to group them together to make a fun little stand.
Step 6: Finish the edges of the tree with rosemary to add some greenery.
Thin Mint Christmas Cookies
Unbelievably easy to make and super delicious!
1 teaspoon mint extract
Crushed candy canes
Step 1: Melt a container of almond bark in the Crock-Pot slow cooker (on low setting for about an hour), then set it to warm. After an hour, add mint extract and give it a good mix. Liz recommends lining the Crock-Pot for mess-free cooking and cleaning.
Step 2: Take one of the Taste of Home cookie sheets and line it with parchment paper.
Step 3: Take some Ritz crackers, throw them into the slow cooker. Then, use tongs to flip the cracker and cover it completely covered with the chocolate.
Step 4: Place the chocolate-covered crackers on the cookie sheets and sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top.
Step 5: Let them cool and display the cookies in the North Pole Trading Enchanted Woods Christmas tree server.
