Cancer has impacted far too many people that I know and love. The daily rituals that many of us take for granted, such as brushing our hair or applying a coat of mascara to our lashes, change completely when faced with losing some of those features whilst undergoing treatment.
When I started work in the Beauty industry, I was introduced to an amazing global charity, Look Good Feel Better. They have been around for more than 35 years, and I believe that during this time they have been able to deliver a sparkle of magic to thousands of cancer patients who attend their workshops.
I have seen firsthand how Look Good Feel Better workshops bring a place of connection, a space to learn and share, and are a safe environment where people with cancer can feel just a little bit more like themself and understand that they are not alone.
JCPenney is excited to partner with Look Good Feel Better to bring their workshops to our stores, making them more accessible to more people, and proudly contributing to the health, happiness and well-being of the communities we serve.
