Embrace the Diversity and Culture of the Black Community with JCPenney
In honor of the Black History Month, JCPenney is set to launch a series of special initiatives throughout the month of February. The campaign will kick off with partnerships with Black-owned businesses, followed by several other Black History Month-themed events that reflect the past, present, and future of the community. In line with the theme of Mind, Body, and Soul for 2022, we are offering a wide selection of health and wellness products for you and your family.
Creative Coalitions, Net Profit Donations, and More
To celebrate, support, and give to the Black community, JCPenney is joining hands with Black-owned businesses to spotlight their product assortment. In addition to the creative coalition, we have also initiated Young Gifted & Black Design Challenge for students at historically Black colleges and universities. This challenge is themed around mental and physical wellbeing and serves as a creative platform to support and celebrate the works of these students.
JCPenney has also launched a new Brand that features a wide range of Black History apparel. All the net profits from this brand will be donated to the Black Girls Smile organization that is dedicated to encouraging positive mental health education, resources, and support geared toward young African American girls and women in schools and organizations.
