In certain situations a smaller towel such as a washcloth or hand towel should do the trick for washing your face or hanging in your bathroom. Although they sound very similar there is a difference between the two. Our bath towels typically measure (27”x52” to 30”x60”) and bath sheets are typically just a bit larger, measuring (30”x60” to 35”x70”). Bath towel density is another important factor that comes into play when purchasing new towels. Fabric weight is measured in grams per square meter (GSM), which typically varies between 300-900. GSM doesn't necessarily equate to quality, but it is useful in helping select a towel that fits your preferences. If you like thinner, lightweight towels that dry fast, look for lower gram weight towels. If you like plush and more luxurious towels, select a towel with a higher GSM.
